I bought a Nortent Gamme 4 for camping in Canada, in snow, cold, and rain.
The tent leaks in the rain, and condensation is extreme in freezing temperatures.
Even with ventilation and the stove running, water drips all over the inside.
Sleeping is almost impossible, and multi-day trips are not possible.
Nortent customer service was not helpful, and no refund is available.
I do not recommend this brand.
i'll be honest - i was super stoked to order my new tent for winter - varde 1 + footprint - placed the order which included shipping + taxes for over £500. At point of purchase, item was in stock, said delivery would be early dec. Fantastic - since then no changes on shipment, just order and money taken - i followed up via their customer email address to be told its out of stock, and they will aim to ship by end Jan '26 - i ordered this Nov '25 - no offer of compensation for the delay/inconvenience - which i then asked for within my reply given that at no point during purchase was this information shared, i feel that is a fair request, but felt this should have been offered given the extensive delay. I understand these things happen, but when taking the money, and expecting someone to wait nearly 2 months with no clear clarity on when the items will be sent - to me that's pretty poor CS.
I own the gamme 8. When I bought it I was assured this tent would not only hold in the heat well, but the stove I used would be more than enough. I finally got a chance to try the tent and it didn’t keep any heat in ! And I used a 20k btu stove roaring all night long and I was still freezing. I reached out to corp and talked to Leif who in the original emails said the tent would work with that stove and now he claims the stove was simply inadequate! No help nothing ! Just a take of my money and an excuse. This company is pathetic and shouldn’t be trusted.
Ordered the fantastic TORV 7 sleeping pad i may ´25, get´s a confirmation mail that it´ll get delivered in august ...introprice 71 euros, get billed 130,- have to tell this myself to get the refund. Now it´s suddenly delivery in september... now it´s september, and wooptidoo... -delivery in the beginning of november... Thank you, November what year?
After ordering two tents and a sleeping mat I wanted to split my order to receive the tents first. I wrote an email to Nortent emphasising that I needed the tents soon. Seven days and two unanswered emails later I've yet to hear from Nortent, leading me to believe that customer service is not a priority to them.
Got the Nortent Titanium Stove.
Had some issues since Nortent had made a change in their product after my order was made.
Nortent made sure to fix this and even made a generous compensation.
I can only give them my highest recommendations.
Fantastic product quality, simply the best. Service quality equally as good, Leif and Harald are both dedicated to creating the best customer experience possible. Just purchased the Nortent Gamme 6 PC, Helleren PC tarp and stainless steel stove as a package. They all arrived in 7 days and are absolutely great for creating a home away from home anywhere you care to roam. Spent the last 3 days in torrential rain with my faithful dog and we’re all dry and toasty warm.
Ordered Gamme 4 couple of weeks ago. Came in no time. Tent is superb. Family so happy with it, and the 6-year old has already spent two nights in it (with a parent). Just now I ordered the oven, and asked for a speedy delivery, looks like Nortent is delivering again. So this weekend we will have a warm and cozy tent for birthday celebration outdoors somewhere.
