These two guys are as sincere and skilled as it gets. No front just steady and unexcitable commentary on the TA they see. They are straight arrows.

Very helpful big picture guidance tools. Not sensationalist. Good forward thinking done by these two, with carefull attention to always being evidence based (technically). Excellent visuals.

I jumped from one "expert" analyst site to another for over ten years looking for a simple, concise evaluation
of the PM and commodities markets. Most charged a ton of money for ambiguous and worthless commentary. I also lost a ton of money relying on their recommendations. Finally discovered NSBC a couple of years ago. No B.S., straightforward and unbiased information that makes sense. They have also exposed me to potential markets for investments. Their approach using gold ratios is about as rational as it gets. Criticism of their comprehensive weekly podcasts is unwarranted. It's simple to skip charts that you don't find useful (but could be if some critics took the time). Kudos to Kevin and Patrick.

The analysis and insights Northstar and Badcharts have given me have saved me a great deal of pain in the markets, and I honestly can’t overstate how much I appreciate the clarity and discipline they bring to their work. Kevin and Patrick are exceptional at what they do—always grounded in reason and evidence, never swayed by noise, hype, or narrative.

In a space that often leans into clickbait, politics, and conspiracy, their level-headed, apolitical approach is a breath of fresh air. It’s rare, and it’s deeply valued. I feel very confident with the information Northstar and Badcharts provide. The info is clear and helps me remove any emotional decision coming from outside headline media news. My focus is then on what the charts are doing and Northstar and Badcharts break them down and describe them very well. Really excellent work !!!

Pat and Kevin are “The Real Deal”.

I have been in Banking and Finance since 1979 (now Retired) and looked at so many “commentators, experts, tipsters, newsletter writers” etc. over 46 years.
In all that time, these guys have come out top of the pile for their knowledge, timely information and technical approach – with a sprinkling of fundamental background information.

What really stands out, is their NSBC Big Picture 5,000 foot view which ties together macro events with meticulous evidence based analysis. They observe, analyze logically, and consider all possibilities of an outcome – importantly offering a summary of each post.
They continually look for a “Kaizen” approach to the website, constantly tweaking and providing yet more value to an already fantastic service.
You are highly unlikely to find a better service anywhere, at any price if you want to follow the financial markets.

I really like these guys - honest and objective coupled with in depth technical analysis, and all done without the usual hype and hyperbole that you so often get from trading and analysis subscriptions. I've been a subscriber to Northstar / bad charts since the beginning, and was following Kevin on twitter for several years before that. Their 'weight of evidence' approach is measured, and they are quick to acknowledge that their approach will not guarantee a specific result, but give reasonable expectations based on a technical approach that has a solid, though not perfect, set of outcomes. I followed Kevin's advice to buy and sell on BTC in the previous cycle and did very well - as in pay off my house well. needless to say, the monthly price I'm locked into is paid for the rest of my life from that one trade. I mainly follow the larger trends on uranium and precious metals, and enter trades when their charts and other fundamental analysts I listen to line up. Keep up the discipline and the good work.

I will never forgive Kevin for his extremely bearish views on Bitcoin during a positively divergent double bottom during December 2022. His constantly negative analysis and harsh wording convinced me it was time to exit my solana position and I sold 800 USD worth at a low, now worth 20,000 USD. I was injured badly at the time so my brain was not screwed on.

No good trades or advice were provided for a year post this. I've changed providers now and have made much better decisions since. I would love to say who but I don't think it's appropriate.

These guys are too full themselves.

EDIT: Look at his response, he assumes I lost money, I just didn't gain any. And being bearish in January 22 justifies your extreme bearishness in December 22?

The fact is you were bearish during a positively divergent double bottom in bitcoin. Basic textbook stuff. I trusted your service over my own experience. A mistake.
