Fantastic experience working with Mel at Northtrotter for trip planning. Mel is such an awesome tour guide! She's well-traveled, warm, kind, confident, knowledgeable, a great conversationalist, a skilled hiker, etc. In May of 2026, she guided me around the islands of Skúvoy and Streymoy in the Faroe Islands. She was very understanding, and accommodating of my limitations, and skill level, while still being a great motivator for me to keep hiking! I felt very safe with her, and would highly recommend her for any tour, even if she's not yet been to whatever the location may be!
