Effective treatment with great followup programs

I've been a patient of Norwich Spinal Health since just after covid, having gone from walking with a cane, to functioning normally, and dropping to a maintenance program.
Staff here are so friendly, and take the time to get to know you, and your lifestyle/hobbies so they can work with you, preventing any additional issues.
The maintenance program is great, as I know I can tell Wen (my practioner) any issue I've developed, and he will work those once my initial checks are complete. It also gives me the option of booking in additionally if I do something dumb which won't wait for my next appointment...
Cannot recommend NSH enough

When I get an episode, NHS step up straight away with almost immediate appointments and advise to get me moving again. All the staff and amazing and so friendly and efficient. I can thank them enough.

Effective ongoing care that works

I've been attending Norwich Spinal Health for just over 2 years and this past year with Wen. I went from barely walking and in constant pain to being active and driving an MX5 which 2 years ago was unthinkable. It takes commitment, but the friendly, welcoming team make it a pleasure (my dog agrees!)

I have been going to NSC for nearly 2…

I have been going to NSC for nearly 2 years. They located my issue and got me treated super quick. Staff are super friendly and the reminder text of an appointment is great! Wen has been helping me for over a year and he is a top man, if I go with a random ache or pain he can locate the issue and gets me sorted in 1 appointment. Highly recommend this team they will get you out of pain, it's worth every penny.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had been dealing with lower back pain for a considerable time before visiting Dr. Neil Folker at Norwich Spinal Health, and I only wish I had come sooner. Dr. Folker was professional, caring, and took the time to fully understand my condition. After just a few sessions, my pain significantly improved, and I felt much more mobile. The wonderful staff made every visit comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend Norwich Spinal Health to anyone in need of expert chiropractic care!
Thank you for making me pain free.

NSH is professional and caring

Everyone at NSH is professional and friendly, I’ve always been welcomed by name and the girls will always stop for a quick chat and make us a coffee. Neil has healing in his hands, I have osteoarthritis and scoliosis, when I arrived there I was twisted down on my left side and people were noticing it. I had the free check and 2 X-rays which were ready the next day and Neil felt he could help me. I had the weekly sessions and in just weeks I was straight again with very little pain. ( I have lost 2 discs due to arthritis so they still cause pain that he said honestly he can’t touch until the inflammation goes down). I first went before COVID but even during that time when Neil was ill the receptionist changed my appointment with no fuss. I have recently started seeing Wen to have K laser treatment on my lower back. It helps with healing and is very pleasant to have with such a nice and caring young man. I have introduced a friend and Neil has been able to help her (she’s 92). I can honestly recommend Norwich Spinal Health if you have any back pain. I travel 60 mile round trip and consider it well worth it.

Thank you!

I must say a big thank you to Wen and the team at Norwich Spinal Health, they've been great! I've had treatment for lower back and neck pains since September last year and I was amazed to notice the difference after a couple of sessions! Wen is very positive and helpful and answered all my questions and I am truly grateful because now I am pain free! A big 'Thank you' from me!

Would recommend

I have been a regular patient at Norwich Spinal Health for a number of years and would thoroughly recommend them. My practitioner Wen has been extremely professional and knowledgeable in helping me maintain a healthy back through regular appointments. I feel confident if I injured or hurt my back I would be in good hands to get the appropriate treatment. I always receive a friendly welcome and Chloe helps me plan my appointments to fit around my busy work and family life, nothing is too much trouble.

Neil is like a wizard

Neil is like a wizard, I have been using him for 4 years now. I had a couple of bad experiences with chiropractors in the past, they didn't know what they were doing in comparison to Neil's skills.

He has got me back to work numerous time felling fixed and well looked after.

Not for me!

I had a 30 minute free consultation that resulted in a further 30 minute £50 consultation. During this I was told all was ok but I should have a £60 X-ray and then pay a further £50 for a 2nd consultation. Overall I felt very uncomfortable and got the impression that it was very much about money and less about helping me.
Shame really as I won’t be going back although the practitioner seemed very nice but following a standard procedure.

Dear Alison, I am sorry that you are not happy although I am unsure as to why? You received a 15 minute free screening to see if we could be of help. A Free Spine and Health Check is a free 10 -15 minute appointment designed to see whether we can be of help before you spend anything. In addition to some questions and a brief chat about your problem, your free check included a spinal examination and a few related tests. As we felt that spinal care could be of benefit, we invited you to come in for a full Initial Consultation although, of course, there was no obligation to do so.

Your first visit, the Initial Consultation, approximately 45 minutes in total, involved a full case history, physical exam, orthopaedic and neurological tests and an assessment of your posture, weight bearing and ranges of motion. This appointment is designed to ascertain the full facts and to diagnose the nature and extent of the problem. The fee for this is £65 but as you had been for a free spinal screen, you were charged less - £55. If anything else is required such as x-rays, which are based on clinical need, there would be an additional fee and this was discussed with you.
We then invited you to attend for your second visit. You made an appointment and then cancelled.
Alison, we are a private healthcare clinic and, as such, we do charge for our appointments and also x-rays. As you said, the practitioner was very nice and please understand that the Initial Consultation has to be carried out to ensure that we know what is wrong, whether we can help, how long it is going to take and how much it will cost. X-rays are only carried out when clinically necessary. I am not sure what you mean by "following a standard procedure" - we do have clinical procedures and protocols for a reason and rightly so - to keep you safe and to provide the very best standards of care. Our focus is always the patient and helping them to the best of our ability but, unfortunately, as a private clinic, along with all other private healthcare facilities, this does come at a cost. To assume that it is "very much about money and less about helping me" is inaccurate and, to be fair, somewhat offensive. Maybe you would be happier seeking care through the NHS?
I hope you get your problem resolved soon.
Regards,
Norwich Spinal Health

Gareth has been treating me for my back and knee with a background of my Parkinson’s diagnosis

Gareth has been treating me for the past two years for my back and my knee. I have found Gareth to be professional, supportive and understanding. He has a wide knowledge in his field and has helped on two occasions when I requested additional appointments. I would be happy to recommend Gareth with confidence. Gareth is very approachable and has a great sense of humour.

Wen fab practitioner …

Wen has been looking after my lower back for the last few months. He gives positive feedback and has sent me exercises to do in-between treatments. Wen is kind and considerate when giving treatment.
Wen makes you feel relaxed as soon as you meet, he listens and doesn’t rush the session.
My back has improved and I am able to move more freely without much pain now.
Huge thanks Wen

Wen has had my back!

When we are young we think we are invincible and lift more than we should but as we get older, the previous injuries come back to plague us. I was having severe back pain and every time I stepped down I had a jarring sensation up one side of my back. On a day out, I met with Wen, from the Norwich Spinal Health and we set about a programme to aid my back issue. My pain has reduced significantly and I no longer have the jarring sensation when I step down. I visit Wen each month now just to ensure my back health. I would recommend Wen, who has worked his magic on my back.

Lies, lies and slander

Not content with flagging truthful views on this cold hearted "family run" business. The CBO rosemary has gone to the extent of manufacturing a false 5* review, which is about as obvious as her lack of qualification to advertise good health.

Thumbs up!

My partner visited this clinic and it made such a difference to her! She had awful chronic back pain she could hardly walk, but the chiropractor she saw managed to alleviate the worst of her symptoms. She said the owners were really nice too. Thumbs up!

Warm, friendly family run practice.

I had such a positive experience with Norwich Spinal Health, and I'm so grateful such a place exists!
Neil is an incredible chiropractor - really kind and down to earth, but also made such a huge difference to my back. I have had severe sciatica and herniated discs which need surgery to fix, however, the pain was so hugely alleviated with Neil's help, and he was very honest about the help he could offer. His wife Rosemary - who manages the practice - is a lovely lady who is always trying to do the best for their patients, plus she's very organised and keeps the place running smoothly. They are a warm, friendly family run practice, and so kind-hearted that they even do the occasional bit of pro bono work. I got to know the place really well because I went back so many times - hands down would recommend to anyone in need of Chiropractic treatment in Norwich or beyond. 💖

Wonderful experience; a top class healthcare centre

I have been to Norwich Spinal Health for various issues over a number of years and I wouldn't be without them. The centre is beautiful, the practitioners and staff are lovely and genuinely care and most importantly, the treatments are effective. I am so glad I found them, as I have been helped out of pain on many occasions; they have earned my loyalty for sure! If you're in pain, don't wait to call them. You will be glad you did, nothing is more important than your health.

Funny how any negative review on here…

Funny how any negative review on here is not only not being responded to, but also flagged immediately so people can't see the negative experiences they've had at this place.
I also have found the management in this place an utterly hellish experience when I decided treatment was not for me. I wish to inform people that they can expect to be waiting months to ever receive their money back, and a very rude business owner to deal with along the way.
