Mr Pearce runs a very efficient service …
Mr Pearce runs a very efficient service and has a very informative web-site.
I had some uncertainty regarding the process of attesting an overseas document with their Melbourne consulate. I had made an email enquiry with Australian DFAT and received a pretty de-personalised reply which just consisted of a cut-and-paste of existing information on the Australian DFAT site and no real help at all.
Then visited Mr Pearce's web-site and it gave a very clear outline of the process. I promptly made an on-line appointment and initiated the process with his office. Everything worked well and complete success.
Would highly recommend this service.
Quick, Professional Service
Mr. Pearce was very professional. He notarised my Power of Attorney Certificate within 5 minutes. He was also very cordial and kind and engaged in good conversation. It was a very smooth and quick process and the notarisation was thorough. It was also very helpful to have the online booking service where you can choose almost any time that you wish.

The service I Received was excellent and the best part that He knows his job and I didn't wasted my time explaining. Best fee and fast service didn't thought that it was done in 10mins.
I ll always recommend and continue John Pearce service for future as well. 👍👍
Great service
Mr.Pearce is a very pleasant person to deal with and my notarisation was done quickly and very professionally. It's a convenient, quick and very punctual service. I have been there twice now and both times the service has been great.
Extremely efficient!
I had a document which needed to be …
I had a document which needed to be witnessed before I sent it overseas. I went to a Justice of the Peace who witnessed my signature and then sent it off. Weeks later my overseas bank told me it I should have signed in front of a Notary Public, not a Justice of the Peace! I did a Google on Notaries and came up with John Pearce. John was very helpful and explained that he was a Solicitor who is also a Notary Public. It turns out that in Melbourne some Solicitors are also a Notary Public and there is a cost for their services. But they have international standing, whereas a JP does not. I wish I had not wasted my time with the JP – he didn’t charge anything, but it was a waste of time going to him. For a modest fee, John Pearce re-witnessed my signature and then I sent it back, and it all worked out fine the second time, with no more hassles.
