This has become one of my everyday…
This has become one of my everyday tools. I use it to grab tracks from different platforms, and I’ve had no issues with stability. Customer service could be faster, but at least they do respond and help when needed.

Easy to navigate and works consistently.
Overall, I’d describe this as dependable. Not perfect, but it gets the job done and keeps the quality intact. That’s more than I can say about other apps I’ve tried.Easy to navigate and works consistently.

For me
For me, the strength of this program is in its simplicity. You don’t need to be an expert to use it. Downloading and converting is straightforward, and I haven’t run into major problems. The audio quality after conversion is better than I expected I can play tracks through my speakers without noticing a drop. I will admit, I had to wait longer than I’d like for a response from support when I asked a question about my account. It was eventually resolved, but it tested my patience. That being said, the tool itself works consistently, and I use it almost daily.

As a DJ
As a DJ, this software is a lifesaver. It lets me build playlists quickly, and the sound holds up even on large speakers. I can’t afford to lose quality, and this program delivers. My only wish is that support responded faster when I had a technical question.

What I like most about this application…
What I like most about this application is its balance of ease of use and reliability. I use it primarily to download and organize my playlists so I can listen offline, and it handles that task perfectly. The design is clean and not cluttered, which is refreshing. I did have mixed feelings about the subscription. The cost itself isn’t unreasonable, but I think more flexible plans would help, especially for people who don’t use it daily. Customer support has been hit or miss—sometimes fast, sometimes slower than I’d like. Still, the actual product is solid, and for me that outweighs the minor frustrations.

Don’t renew after missing a month.
If you miss a month or 2 of a subscription payment just buy new DONT renew. It’ll activate for the months in the past and you don’t got a Time Machine.
Just buy new

Perfect Software to “ignore” DRMs
I’ve been looking for a cheap way to get my apple music playlists into a mp3-free format for a while, mainly because I still use an ipod nano and my old and I prefer mp3s . I've tried a few sketchy free programs, but most either didn’t work properly or messed up the metadata, or were slow and tried to overcharge. Recently I tested out noteburner, and it’s been the best experience so far.
Their site is (noteburner .com) for the mac version specifically.
(imgur .com/a/mq1WHYm)
I use the windows version, never tested the macos one.
What I liked most is that it handles entire playlists at once, not just one song at a time so I can be lazy. I gave it a 465 song playlist and it converted the whole thing into mp3 with the correct artist and album tags and even album art for most of tracks. It saved me time compared to manual recording. The interface is simple, too. Really you just select your playlist, choose the output format (mp3, aac, flac, wav, whatever.), and it'll do it.
The quality is decent, too. I compared the output with the original apple music stream and couldn’t hear much difference (although my ears are untrained). It preserves 320kbps mp3 (or higher if you use flac/wav). Another nice touch is that it keeps the same folder/album structure so you’re not left with a giant mess of unnamed files.
However, it’s not perfect. The software isn’t free, and while it’s cheaper than rebuying every track, you have to decide if it’s worth the license. At the time of writing that is $15. Also, since it works by capturing audio from Apple Music, there can sometimes be problems if you’re multitasking while it’s converting. Also, there’s the gray area of terms of service, Apple definitely doesn’t approve this kind of tool, so you use it at your own risk.
Overall though, noteburner did exactly what I needed. It took my apple music playlist and turned it into drm-free mp3s I can use as I please. If you’re looking for something that just works for batch conversion, that would be my recommendation.

Customer since 2019, back when Noteburner was just a wee little lad
I have been a customer of theirs since 2019. I purchased the software for the features and I stayed with the software for the support. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable and always helpful. I'm interested in seeing what new features they will bring to the software in the future, but until then and beyond, Noteburner will be my audio converter of choice.

Ideal product for the music geek
I purchased a lifetime subscription to Noteburner in October of 2024. Thus far, it has met all of my expectations. I bought it to primarily to expand my music collection. As a bonafide music geek, I have expanded my iPod collection to over 35,000 songs. The downloading is fast and efficient. On one occasion, I had trouble logging in but after contacting the customer service they resolved my issue promptly (within 24 hours). Overall, it is very easy to learn and one does not need to be tech savvy to use it.
On one occasion, I discovered that I could only log on to my Noteburner account on one computer at a time. You can not use the same Noteburner account on multiple computers. (Which is understandable) This is useful information for all Noteburner users. It’s a slight drawback; however it is really not a big issue.
Other features I like include the record keeping of all artists. One can easily delete or hold on to previous artists, so its easy to remember what artists that have been added to my music collection.
If you’re debating between getting an annual subscription versus the lifetime, I would consider a couple of factors.
If you are music geek and plan to expand your collection to over 30,000 songs it would definitely make more sense to get a lifetime subscription. However, if you don’t plan to have such a massive library of songs, it would probably make more sense to get an annual subscription.
Note: there are 2 main kinds of subscriptions: Mac & Windows. It is important to note that these subscriptions cannot be interchanged. So if you use windows and Mac, only 1 subscription works for one of them. You will have to choose one. Also, if you plan to change computer systems in the future, be sure to purchase the version you want to use on your main computer since windows and MAC are not interchangeable.
Overall, I would describe my purchase as a sound and valuable investment which has provided me with endless hours of music listening pleasure.

I’ve been using this software for…
I’ve been using this software for several months now, and I can honestly say it has made my music workflow much easier. The biggest benefit for me is the ability to convert music from different platforms without losing audio quality. I’ve compared files side by side with the originals, and I can’t hear any difference. The interface is simple enough that I didn’t have to read a guide before I started, which I really appreciate. On the downside, I had to wait almost two days to get a reply from customer support when I had a billing issue, but once they responded, they were polite and solved it quickly. Overall, it’s a stable program that does what it promises.

Very easy 5 stars!
This is a fantatic product! The interface is well designed and the quality settings for song files is a standout feature. I think it is crucial to have an archival of digital media and my music is very important to me. This blends both of those perfectly. I have been making playlists for over half my life so getting to keep them safe offline on my phone and pc is on par with storing family photos. The peace of mind of having my whole music library even during an internet outage is so comforting. Especially considering music can get you through tough times.
As an audiophile who likes music production it is a wonderful experience having a high quality song file to work with and remix/remaster instead if the old-school YouTube to mp3 sites
My favorite feature is the ability to retain the song metadata including the album artwork and lyrics. It is also great that there is a check mark to filter out what is already converted.
I was a little bummed out that Spotify nuked my account due to NoteBurner but in all honesty I planned to delete it anyway due to how dystopian the company has been becoming lately. (Underpaying artists, promoting ai music over real music, a subscription cost that is way too high, invasive privacy violations).
I am so glad that NoteBurner is around to help me save my library and show Spotify that voting with my wallet instead of being at the boot of oppressive companies is important. I also managed to get my entire library before their TOS shut down the account.
Not mention this is not a fault of Noteburner itself. Just dedicate some time to getting your whole library and then reach out to Spotify support and then the account will be restored.
The price point is very reasonable considering the amount of value you get with it and I am overjoyed this product was able to help me increase my privacy, stray away from reliance on the dystopian society streaming services have created where they want you to own nothing. This completely mitigates that and I could not be more thankful.
It is also important to mention that their support team is fantastic. I forgot to cancel my subscription and they quickly resolved it for me and refunded me the month.
I will definitely be buying the lifetime version in the future.
Things to keep in mind:
- Bookmark the site for subscription cancellation because it isn't the easiest to navigate
-Spotify will catch on and be prudes about you using Noteburner so make sure your internet is fast enough to save everything before you get suspended

Great software; excellent customer service
Great software and excellent customer service! I accidentally purchased two subscriptions because I was trying to catalog all my music while sick (bad plan 😂) so my brain was fuzzy. I requested a refund for the incorrect subscription I purchased. They processed the refund in less than 24 hours, then followed up on our original email chain to close the loop. I really appreciate them!

Wonderful Product
To be honest, having to recharge Premium every time is really expensive. And as a music lover, if I can't download songs or if my various music devices don't have the songs I want, I'll go crazy. So this software really helps us a lot, as there are no restrictions on downloading songs. It also allows me to customize and edit these songs.

I was a little skeptical when one of my friends told me about this service. My thoughts were how it works quality of sound etc. A day a few years ago I decided to try a try on the week. It didn't take many days before I decided to buy a liveftime license. The best investment. Good quality of sound user friendly. World-class support, quick response and always easy with explanation and help. Best buy.
Extremely Reliable and Easy to Use – NoteBurner Exceeded My Expectations
I rarely write reviews, but after using NoteBurner for over three months now, I felt compelled to share my experience. I was initially skeptical about using a music converter, especially with so many unreliable tools out there. But NoteBurner turned out to be a fantastic find.
I mainly use it for downloading and converting my Spotify playlists to MP3 so I can listen offline without needing to open the Spotify app every time or worry about subscription restrictions. From day one, the software has been incredibly easy to use. The interface is clean, intuitive, and doesn’t overwhelm you with too many options. Installation was quick, and the setup process was straightforward.
What really surprised me is the audio quality. The converted tracks sound just as good as the originals, with no weird distortions or quality loss. Batch conversion is also super convenient – I was able to convert an entire playlist of over 100 songs in under 30 minutes, all perfectly labeled with metadata.
Customer support deserves a mention too. I had one minor issue when updating the software, and I received a response to my email within 24 hours. They were polite, professional, and quickly helped me resolve the problem.
Another big plus: NoteBurner is constantly updated to stay compatible with the latest versions of streaming platforms. That gives me confidence that I’m using a reliable and future-proof product.
Overall, NoteBurner has completely changed how I listen to music offline. It’s a solid investment for anyone who wants more freedom with their streaming content. I highly recommend it – five stars without hesitation.
