Fast progress and kind teachers
We started in July and had 2-3 classes a week as recommended and I see my kid's progress now! She has improved her school grades and can speak without being shy and not afraid to make a mistake. My daughter is always waiting for Novakid classes. Teacher Saige is our favourite <3

YOU PRE-PAY, ATTEND BUT NOT LEARN ENGLISH
1. Please could you specify what is the main problem?
In the first months course worked good, with a 1:1 ratio lesson:learning.
After about 10 month course has become FLAT and STANDARD:
- same standardised lessons,
- TOO MUCH TOUCH-BASED (a language is SPEAKING, LISTENING, WRITING, READING PRONOUNCING, rather than ONLY TOUCHING).
- 10 months to count up to 20 number
- ZERO basic essential sentences i.e. What's your name, How old are you, Were are you from, How are you (and relative answers)
- ZERO 3 or 4 words articulated sentences
- ALWAYS THE SAME COPY AND PASTE ENTHUSIASTIC TEACHER'S FEEDBACK that arrives after only 5 minutes of lesson (i.e. very fake).
2. Are you satisfied with the teacher?
Initially yes. Now not.
Same lessons, ZERO focus on simple sentences, always the same pre-written "copy and paste" "false sensational" feedback.
3. The child is interested in the lessons?
At the first month yes. Now NO, ABSOLUTELY.
He/She is learning more with the same minutes per week lessons by Statal School teacher than with 10 months of Novakid.
He/She's YYYY yo, he/she has been practicing Novakid since VERY YOUNG, and now for 10 months, twice a week. And he/she is still not capable to say WHAT'S YOUR NAME nor MY NAME IS NNNNN nor HOW OLD ARE YOU nor I AM YYYY nor WHERE ARE YOU FROM nor I AM FROM CCCC.
4. We will appreciate your kind answer.
In simple words, I read that Novakid is being a business global success, but the weakness is that is a STANDARD product, ZERO STUDENT CUSTOMIZED.
The effect is that is very good to start, but after YOU PRE-PAY, ATTEND LESSONS BUT NOT LEARN ENGLISH.

We are quite surprised with some of your observations and we are sorry you feel this way about Novakid 😢
Excellence is our priority! Let us answer point by point:
1. The Novakid program is based on the Cambridge exam system - the ‘Gold Standard’ for teaching English around the world ⭐ The program is aimed to develop all 4 language skills, and, as you say, “touching” for sure is not included. The development of skills can be seen in the ‘Achievements’ section in the child’s personal account, and we also send progress reports by email 🏆
2. The program is standardized, as it follows the main guidelines of studying English for the children of a certain age. Moreover the methodologically strong program is the main key to predict and guarantee the progress of the child and scale up the work of the teacher. At the end of each unit, there is a Unit Review to reinforce the material. After every 2 units, there is an examination lesson ✅ After the examination, we can personally assign to the child some lessons to improve some weak points.
3. Repetition is an absolute must-have for any educational program 🙌 A child's brain works in such a way that they cannot remember what they study without repetition. Remember that when a child knows the answer, it increases their self-confidence 😊 Education experts call this ‘providing opportunities for success’.
4. Teacher’s feedback has several functions. In its, as you call it “copy-paste” part there are main takeaways of the lesson, it is created for you to see which topics were discussed and for your child to have a guideline for exercising between the lesson. The enthusiastic part is absolutely not copy-pasted. First of all, our teachers are very excited about their job and, second, they like to motivate their students. And for very young children it is important to see that their favorite teacher is proud of them.
5. As for the teacher, have you tried just one teacher or several? It is very important to find a perfect match between a child and a teacher, even at the caracterial point of view. Sometimes, at a certain point it is needed to change a teacher, as a child gets used and doesn’t feel stimulated. We can provide you with several teacher’s profiles to let you find one that is perfect for your child.
We are really sorry that you do not see the progress of your child. Nevertheless, before to judge we need some more information:
- how old is your child?
- how are his/her language skills in your mother tongue?
- do you have regular lessons without long breaks?
- have you watched the video of your child’s lessons?
Sometimes, especially with very young children we do not realize how much progress they have made. We advise you to watch the very first video and compare it with the actual situation.
