Really dodgy looking cheap item. Really should have known better. Badly packaged, probably just plain, normal led lights without any actual benefits - buyer beware.

Don't be misled by the false 5 star reviews

Product is poorly designed and made. Packaging cheap, crumpled and unbranded. Product when unwrapped (again from poor internal packaging) was flimsy and broken (at hinge on one side). Product is not as advertised. Haven't even plugged it in as not happy with the look, feel and quality. This should be retailing at £20-£30 and not £180 although it would still be disappointing at £20.
Have emailed the company 3 times in the last week and still have received no reply. I've escalated with my payment merchant for a charge back refund but money may be gone. Don't make the same mistake in being misled by the website (although on reflection it's not hard with a bit of research to reach your own conclusion that it is one to avoid).
17/01 - Chargeback with Revolut was successful and i've now been fully refunded. Nearly 2 months to resolve but would advise others to follow same process.

Beware

I stupidly read reviews after purchasing.

I sent 3 prior emails instructing not to ship the order and to refund the item and a day later I have received a shipping email.

Unfortunately it looks like the reviews are right and this is a scam company.

I ordered this mask for £179- the delivery was as stated and the tracking number let me track when the package was going to arrive. I was excited to try it. On plugging in the adapter and switching it on there was a loud bang and sparks out of the plug. The mask had not been plugged into the adapter at this time thankfully so I contacted the company and also ordered a new adapter off Amazon. I heard nothing from the company initially. I tried the new adapter to find the mask did not light up anyway even though the remote seemed to beep and have numbers on the display. I still heard nothing from the company, until I threatened to contact PayPal, the financial ombudsman and the OPSS. They then replied with the return address and advised me that I would need to pay the return postage to none other than REUNION- (this is an island very far away) - they advised they would then refund the cost, otherwise if I prefer not to return it they will refund half the amount??? So basically they have taken half my money- this is a scam be careful.

A word of warning...

A word of warning in purchasing this led mask. I'm annoyed with myself more than anything really as I spent hours researching the led masks on the market and then I purchased this one on a whim after being drawn in by the website.
Firstly the company is called Novalight UK, naively from that I took them to be a UK based company. They're not, they're based in Reunion, an island in the Indian Ocean (I'll come back to this).
The website is professional looking and they make big claims on their 'Novalight' led mask. It's only after ordering that I recognised one of the before and after images because they've stolen it from another website. Also, only after ordering, did I notice there's no contact details aside for the email address. This is a warning sign apparently - no telephone or address contact.
I tried to cancel the mask a day after ordering and was told I couldn't because it had been dispatched, but that if I wanted to cancel and return when I got it I could. It's then that I asked for the address and was given their 'warehouse' on an island in the Indian Ocean!
The mask arrived - it's a cheap plastic mask which you could probably get for £20 from Amazon. Not one mention of 'Novalight' on it or the packaging. The instructions are illegible and look photocopied.
I literally emailed back and forth for a few days outlining that they have mis-sold and mis-led about the product they are charging £179 for. My emails fell on deaf ears, everything I was pointing out to them was completely ignored. They then offered me a full refund but I had to return the item. Sending to it the Indian Ocean would cost a fortune and by this point I didn't trust that I'd get my money back. They then offered 50% of my money back and not to return the item. Then the next day up to 40% of my money back! They were making it up as they went along!
One of the things I mentioned to them after I tried to cancel after 1 day, and annoyingly I didn't notice until after I'd ordered, was that I couldn't click on any of the reviews on their website, not 1! And all the reviews are apparently 5 stars according to their website!! I then went on Trustpilot and noticed 3 reviews, all of which were very poor (panic set in!). Strangely about a week after I pointed this out to them, I went back on Trustpilot and low and behold, lots of 5 star reviews! Sorry, I just do not believe them.
I don't want anyone else to be out of pocket like I am and have a cheap plastic mask in return. There are plenty of great masks out there that are close to this price.

Below review is EXACTLY right

Below review is EXACTLY right. I was about to leave exactly the same review. DO.NOT.BUY. I am going to try and return this mask so hopefully the returns process will surprise me and I'll be successful. I purchased based on articles saying it was the best for results, it's SO unbelievably heavy it has bruised (to the touch) my eye and eyebrow bones after a week's worth of use. A friend has a different one and she's used it for a year and loves it! Finds it very relaxing. There is nothing relaxing about this mask. AVOID!!

Edit* Novalight have refunded me and their process was extremely straight forward and they were very professional. 5*'s for them for customer care

Don’t buy this LED mask from this company! Go for the more well known brands - trust me!

I am quite disappointed to be honest. When looking at this website and the reviews I honestly was expecting something brilliant. You spend a lot of money on a product and expect to have the best, well presented and a bit of luxury. Unfortunately this mask, is anything but.
The mask has arrived and looks as advertised albeit feels cheap. It switches on, lights work. Not used it yet on my skin but… I will be back to review my results once used for a period of time.
However, the packaging is cheap, the product is cheap, looks like something that has been mass produced, as cheap as possible. The controller for the mask is cheaply made. It’s also not clear what all the buttons do or how to program it properly. The plug is also very flimsy and cheap. Nothing has the Novalight (company name) logo on it. In fact it is completely unbranded. The instructions are AWFUL!!! So you don’t really know what you are doing with it. There is a packet of 7, what can only be described as mini adapters - no idea what these are for, where they even go?? Surprisingly not mentioned in the really clear instructions!! Everything says it is a “whitening” mask?? Not at all what is advertised. It’s also meant to be a uk based company. Which up until the point of delivery you believe, but it’s not, it is oversees.
I would try and return the product but I know how these companies work. They will spin out some amount of rubbish, in countless emails and I’ll never see my money again. Annoyed as I had researched into which led masks were best rated. This was in the top 3??!!
To be honest, I wish I had saved my money and forked out for one of the more established companies, a brand I know, where the price you pay is the luxury you receive. The price I paid for this - £179 - is not worth the money at all. I’d been happier paying £49.
My advice is to save your pennies and go for one of the more well known brands as you’ll receive the best. Not mass produced, cheap, not worth the money, rubbish.
