The reservation went easy on the Dutch website. In the beginning, I tried to book the same house via the English Novasol website, but my visa card was a few times rejected there.

Poor stay over Christmas Period

Purchased a queen room as a treat for the Christmas period. To have 2 single beds just zipped together. They moved us rooms very swiftly (staff were helpful) The new room: there was a VERY used ear bud in the bathroom, with the coffee pods already used. There is a 3day clean up policy, to which we found out by a sticker on a mirror. We requested a room change, on coming back later that evening, the room had not been touched.
We called the reception to get dry towels as there is no space to dry our towels, staff again brought towels very quickly. As I put the towel over the shower to let them dry on our 2nd night, the rubber rim fell off (cheaply put together)
There was a party downstairs who set off fireworks in the carpark of the property from 00:30-0130.
The bathroom door has got so wet that the bottom of the door has wilted and the wood has started to mould. The shower door has not been descaled, it is corroded and sharp from limescaled in years (its seemed)
For a 4star hotel! It is shocking.
The Spa is not included. It is £10 per person PER ENTRY.
Parking is £24 A NIGHT
The only positive thing was the size of the room.

This company is a worst company they…

This company is a worst company they don't mention in their website that we have to pay extra charges for resort cost and cleaning and after booking and pay half booking fees whose is 324€ from total 630€ for only 5 nights now they send me email that i must pay 35€ each day of stay and 150€ for cleaning means this stay will be for us now around 1000€ that is much expensive we cannot bear and if i want to cancel they said we don't get nothing back so our 324€ is gone then. I definitely not recommended to anyone come in their trap and request to the Denmark Government that they must take action in this bad company that doing fruad with people here in Europe. They must must must mention clearly with bold words about extra charges in front of the website then people will not do mistake and come in their trap.

Uninhabitable house, but Novasol refuses to refund or help

We arrived to a Novasol holiday home on October 4th and found it completely without electricity due to the storm that occurred the night before — no heating, no lights, no ability to cook — making it uninhabitable. We immediately contacted Novasol. Their replies admitted the outage was due to local weather issues, but they refused to provide any alternative, compensation, or refund. Their emails are attached/screenshotted.

According to Novasol’s own General Terms & Conditions, if a booking cannot be completed due to reasons beyond Novasol’s control, the rent already paid must be refunded immediately. Despite this clear clause, Novasol denied responsibility and withheld our payment.

Because no solution was offered, we were forced to secure alternative accommodation at our own cost. We are also in direct contact with the property owner, who confirms that even after three days, the house remains uninhabitable, still without electricity. However, Novasol still refuses reimbursement.

Our experience shows Novasol does not act in accordance with its own regulations. Practical advice: if you book with Novasol, be aware that in case of utility failure they may leave you without help, refund, or a place to stay.

Dangerous, Dirty, and Unprofessional

My experience with this holiday home booked via Novasol and managed by Villa Viva was dangerous, misleading, and completely unacceptable. On arrival, I found serious safety hazards: a broken chair leg (not immediately visible), broken kitchen utensils, a nearly collapsing staircase, and a loose glass tabletop. These posed a direct risk, yet despite multiple reports, nothing was fixed before the next guests arrived. The property was completely unclean, with no cleaning team present, despite repeated denials from Novasol and Villa Viva. To prove this, I left a note at checkout stating: “If this note is still here, the house has not been cleaned,” which was still there when the next guests arrived. Responsibility was shifted between Novasol and Villa Viva. Communication was slow, misleading, and unprofessional. Complaints were ignored, no solution offered, and excuses were deceptive. This property is unsafe, filthy, poorly managed, and misleading. I strongly warn travelers: do not book here!

Disappointed by poor service and lack of responsibility

We received an email just one week before our holiday informing us that due to a mistake on their end, we could no longer arrive on our originally booked date and would have to move the booking one day ahead. This was simply not possible for us, as it would fall on a school day for our children. While they offered a refund, finding an alternative on such short notice was nearly impossible.

We contacted their Danish helpdesk several times to ask if we could at least check out later to make up for the lost day of our already short holiday. Each time, we were told the request had to be forwarded to "local agents," who clearly didn’t grasp the issue. At one point, they even suggested the problem was caused by a last-minute change on our side—which it absolutely wasn’t. Then they claimed their system didn’t allow for a later checkout. All in all, a very frustrating and unhelpful experience.

There was no willingness to offer any kind of compensation for a mistake that was entirely their fault. Very disappointing customer service.

Probably won't book again with NOVASOL

Booking went fast. That is positive.

But when arrived there where no towels and bedlinnen.
According to NOVASOL it was mentioned on the site, I have checked multiple times.. also after they told me this... still can't find it. Very unclear if it is even mentioned.

Customer support.... Not friendly at all.

NO REFUND OF LARGE DEPOSIT

I cancelled my booking just 14 hours after making it and over 2 months before it would have been active. Stupidly paid the £608 deposit immediately. The company won’t give me any of my deposit back and won’t explain how they justify a £608 cost for a cancellation. Surely this can’t be a legal policy?? I Will NEVER use NOVASOL again and will warn others not to either.

Not customer friendly

First booking got changed, no car charging station available. With a full EV this is not an option. Changed booking to more expensive home. Still have to pay for rebooking fee although we did not want to change! Chats to get this restored are “broken off” and no way to escalate issue. Yes you can get discount of 10% but this does not solve the requirement of charging station of premises. This 10% is almost double the rebooking cost which can’t be waved………..Not very customer friendly / focussed.

The service is absolutely terrible

The service is absolutely terrible. When you book the place everything is possible, but once you've booked it and made the first payment you can forget about receiving any service.

I booked a place for 10 people for 1 week for $3377,-. A very decent price at a seemingly nice location. I made a first payment of $872,- and wanted to pay the rest in 2 installments because my creditcard has a $1500,- limit. My booking area only gave an option to pay the full amount so I decided to chat with an employee. The service was very quick, but in all the wrong ways. "This is not possible, have a nice day". Cancel my booking? "This is possible, but you lose your first payment". There is no other way to pay, no Paypal, no European debit card, nothing. Mind you, I contacted the place 5 months before check-in.

So if you want to rent a place with no service and no help from an employee and lose your money when you get the worst possible service, book here!
