Michael is brilliant. This is our third EV charger installation and we totally trust him. He's a neat and tidy worker and explains everything he is doing. Can't recommend him highly enough.

NowEV has completed the installation of a 15 panel solar array on a difficult roof; around dormers and Velux windows. The array is managed by a TIGO optimiser and coupled with a ‘state of the art’ 20.5kWh Powervault P5 battery bank and inverter. The old dumb EV charge point is replaced by an intelligent OHME charger which manages our two EVs.
Michel is the consummate professional: clear, helpful, punctual, tidy… best described as a ‘practical perfectionist’.
Contract and system documentation is clear, accurate and complete and supported by sound guarantees.
Michael and Ben went the extra mile, replacing many previously-broken roof tiles.
The system was installed in a very compact space; previously a 1930’s pantry. As an electrical engineer I really appreciate the attention to detail and safety shown by Michael. His handover and demonstration was very comprehensive and clear and the follow up and remote monitoring gives peace of mind.

I contacted Now EV (primarily Michael) on a recommendation and my experience with them has been superb.
Pre-sales: Now EV were easy to get in touch with, professional and informative, and visited the property promptly to do a survey and discuss the options. They sent over a couple of quotes reflecting the different solutions discussed, and the quote packs were impressively jammed full of genuinely helpful information, data, and example projections. To do this particular job we also had to collaborate with roofers and scaffolders, which was all managed without a hitch.
On-site the installers, led by Michael, were friendly and professional, and did a job that the roofers were impressed with! They discussed and aligned with the roofing team with their plans throughout the work. They also finished ahead of schedule!
After completion, Michael and team have sent over all the various documents and certificates with trademark slick professionalism. Michael has been on hand throughout to answer questions, discuss related issues like suppliers and tariffs, and to work through any points I raised.
The final install looks fantastic and is working brilliantly! Overall, I'm really happy with the service Now EV have provided, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in the future.

I first came across Now EV when I was having problems with my EV charger which kept tripping due to being incorrectly installed by another company.
Michael was really great at explaining and sorting everything, so when I was looking at getting solar I didn’t hesitate to get a quote from Now EV.
Michael came round and explained various options and took the time to listen and understand what I wanted from a system and then provided 4 different options - these were all priced competitively against others I had looked at.
The work was completed and I now have a great solar and battery system, the work was done really well and no corners cut and the time taken to explain everything and answer any questions I had.

Michael is a really great guy to deal with. His advice is clear and pretty unbiased and he pays a great deal of attention to customer service, answering e mails promptly etc. The job was well managed and ( despite us having a family crisis on day 2 finished on time and everything was left tidy and the working of it explained to us so we could proceed with confidence. All the necessary paperwork to get our solar electricity going back to the grid arrived the day after the job was done, and we were set up within 3 weeks of installation ( this was down to getting everything sorted with supplier and network). We had some issues getting the smart meter operative and Michael was happy to help us resolve the problem. The only real downside was the amount of time it took to get the scaffolding removed after the job - not Michaels fault. We just got our first bill and we are self-sufficient and even got a pay back (July). We waited to make sure of everything before leaving feedback, and we are really happy to recomend NOW ev.

From start to finish the service was both personal and professional and we felt very at ease working with Michael. The advice was given such that we could understand the technical information and the installation was faultless and without any fuss. Within 24hrs of our battery being fitted we could see the positive results !

Outstanding. From contact to completion I cannot fault Michael. Anyone who takes the time to comprehensively explain the quote and reasons for hardware capacity selection is a rarity and truly cares that you receive a system that is justified. Michael took the time to visit the site and talk through battery and inverter locations, but actually listened to my preference (as I am picky about cable routing) and was happy to accommodate. Workmanship was first class and respectful of my property throughout. On top of this, all documentation was presented as promised and the whole installation was problem free. I challenge anyone to find a better service - highly recommended.

I rarely do reviews - really poor or exceptional service only. In this case it was exceptional and by far exceeded expectations. Prompt, friendly, professional. Charger (Simpsons and Partners) looks great and the installation is quite simply amazing. Cables run along the side of the house, under paving, into a detached garage, along the inside, and out through the front so that the wiring is hidden from the front of the house. All I needed to do was a bit jointing on the paving that took me 30mins. Well worth it for the professional finish. Makes other charger installations in surrounding houses/streets look amateurish. Everything from initial contact to installation was just perfect. Will recommend Michael and Now EV to everyone.
