I had a private pension with another provider and everything was transparent and went smoothly when I asked to withdrawl my money and went through the entire proccess, but with this one? Quite a story! On April, 13th, I asked Now Pension to allow me to withdrawal my savings. We agreed about the date, which was May, 4th the money to hit my bank account.
Because nothing had happened, I checked my Now Pension account and took screenshots which revealed that the disinvestment was in progress since April, 14. I called Now Pension on May, 7th and they informed me the money will reach my bank account in 2-3 working days. Nothing had happened. Today, May, 13th, I received an email from Now Pension stating that the money will be in my account in one week. I checked my Now account, but my access had been limited to enable me to access solely the mailbox. I phoned them and they informed me that the procedure of disinvestment had started on May, 4th according to my request. I reply that my request was to receive the money on that day not the process to begin. They also said from that day should take 7 working days the savings to reach my account. The problem was there were more than 7days since 4th May, and according to the screenshot I took it previously before they limited my access, the process had started immediately after my first request, on April 13th. My perception, and I might be wrong, was that there was unwritten policy to keep the money in as much as possible before making the transfer because all money generates income, but is not fare for the members, for which I don't recommend Now Pension to anybody, not only family and friends. Now, they asked me through an email, to offer a review about how they did it after 'We recently paid out all of your Now:pension savings to you. Leave us a review on Trustpilot about how we did it'.
I am shocked as no money reached my bank account. First, the discrepancy between the screenshot of my Now account, where the process started one month ago and what they tried to tell me on the phone that the process had just started, and second, the email where they asked me to leave a review about the payment, WHICH HADN'T BEEN MADE YET.
Everything should be fully transparent, cristal-clear for the members and not only. I am curious how they will explain this ' we recently paid out all your savings to you', when this hasn't happened yet.

0 Stars. Incompetent and uncooperative, this company have been thoroughly dishonest since I received a letter from them in December 2025 informing me that my pension pot was £19.07! It appears that this was from a job I left in 2016, I had no knowledge of this account and I suspect that Now have simply taken money from it to cover their fees until now.
Since changing jobs in 2015,2017, and 2018, I had tried to consolidate all of my pensions into one account, or so I thought.
I contacted Now to get the £19.07 transferred to my current pension. This was in January, they sent the money to my current pension, knowing full well that amounts under £50 would not be accepted. The funds were then lost between Now and Nest Pensions and it has taken until May to get the money finally sent to my bank account, (the Government have taken £3 in tax). I made several complaints to Now, which they just whitewashed by supposedly carrying out investigations, but of course would not admit they had messed up.
Chat lines freeze or get disconnected, phone calls are a waste of time as it is someone different every time and e mails take far too long to be replied to.
The only time I got assistance was when I threatened to take the case to the Pensions Ombudsman, then there was a hint of help.
Awful company who just don't care.
