I'm being billed by this company…
I'm being billed by this company monthly and I never signed up with them. Theu do not have a phone# listed. Therefore, I can't speak with anyone, or cancel the subscription because I obviously don't have a log-in. What type of scam is this???

I’m truly sorry for the frustration — unexpected charges can be very upsetting. I want to reassure you that this isn’t a scam, and we’ll help you sort everything out quickly. Please contact our support team at support@nowyouknow.io with your full name and the email address that may be associated with the charge. They’ll look into it right away.
We’re here to help and will make sure this gets resolved for you.
It seem very fast paced
It seem very fast paced. I read you were thinking of adding kits. I like that idea. It is hard to buy so many items for just 1 kit. Still getting used to the site. I was given 3 things that were part of the first week. Not sure how to change the next week because I believe my next item is not something I would like.
It also would be good if you could choose which ones you want to try instead of getting the suggestion.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback — it’s really helpful as we continue to improve the experience.
I completely understand how the pace can feel fast at first, and you’re not alone in wanting an easier way to get supplies. You can always pause or go back to your skills at your own pace.
Regarding your upcoming skills:
Once your Bootcamp wraps up, your weekly journey begins. From then on, you’ll receive a new skill every 7 days, tailored to your personal plan — and don’t worry, you’ll always have the option to change it if it’s not something you’re excited about!
Variety is key.
The opportunity to chose from several crafts, some you know absolutely nothing about and others you may have a little knowledge about or even some you have already mastered and become great or greater at all of them. It reminds you to dream again and begin to be creative and start something anew. It's wonderful.

Experience with Now you Know
I really love the herbal remedies lessons and the skin care lessons looks interesting. I like the candle lessons however it seems a bit pricey to get the supples for it. I am not interested in water colours. I am vegan so the chocolate and the dumpling lessons are not good for me. It would be nice if you tailor the lessons to the learner.

It’s a nightmare to cancel
It’s a nightmare to cancel! I have tried via email, phone, and blocking the subscription and they have not gone good on the money back guarantee. Also you don’t receive any product to do the skills. You pay $20 for a video you can watch on YouTube…save your money!

The experience was great
The experience was great, immersive.
For some examples, I would have love to watch the portions, ratios to make the product. Not only to imagine.
The teacher was great, calm and clear.
The knowledge is appreciated and I would definitely take more courses on NYK.

I like the website. I do adore the skills, and the way they are tough.
I believe it would work better if there is a app to access this portal, but I understand apps cost money.

So Much Hype, So Little Guidance
I kept seeing "Now You Know” all over Instagram, with people raving about how they started businesses from the skills they learned. So naturally, I had to check it out.
Based on my 7-day bootcamp, some of the classes were interesting, but some felt rushed with barely enough time to practice before moving on to the next thing. They also don’t tell you where to buy the supplies, which makes it harder to actually do the projects.
Update (Nov 9, 2025): I was refunded my payment and asked to delete my review and provide live feedback.

Misleading fee structure
Misleading fee structure. Claims they charge a lifetime fee but that fee is to be able to revisit the classes you’ve chosen not to be able to access the site. Quarterly fees will continue to be charged. Too expensive when you can learn from YouTube and Google for free. Customer service is abysmal when trying to cancel or remove charges. Will be reporting to Better Business Bureau for shady fee structure.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we truly appreciate it. I’m sorry to hear about your frustration and confusion regarding our pricing structure.
To clarify, the lifetime access option is a one-time upgrade that gives you permanent access to all the skills you’ve already claimed, even after your subscription ends. The quarterly fee applies only to the ongoing subscription, which provides new weekly skills and continuous updates as long as it’s active.
We never want anyone to feel misled, and your experience helps us see where we can communicate this more clearly. Our team is reviewing your feedback to make sure future users better understand the differences between subscription plans and lifetime access.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, we value your input and are always working to improve.

Definitely recommend this course!
This was a great course, I learned a lot and had a ton of fun while doing it. It’s been a great kickstart into candle making. I will, however, note that not all of the downloadables Tai would mention were all available, or provided all the info she said would have been in them. Unfortunately I don’t have specifics to recall right now but if you were to watch the videos and line them up with the downloadables, you will find what I mean. Other than that minor thing, this was a great course and I would love the opportunity to learn more styles and designs for candle making!
