Faulty product and difficult returns process
I originally purchased the GoBrush PRO from Numoya, and since then I’ve noticed the company appears to now be operating under the name “FLOWN”, which I found concerning.
My experience with the product and customer service was very poor.
The product itself had several issues:
- The battery lasted around 10–13 minutes on a full charge (far below the advertised ~30 minutes)
- It became uncomfortably hot even on the lowest setting
- There was a noticeable burning/electrical smell during use, raising safety concerns
I also tested the brush myself to confirm the issue and experienced the same overheating problem.
When I contacted support, the situation became even more frustrating. Despite clearly explaining that the item appeared faulty, I was:
- Given repeated troubleshooting steps that did not resolve the issue
- Offered partial refunds or replacements instead of a proper resolution
- Told I would need to return the item to Asia at my own cost to receive a refund
I was not provided with a clear return process upfront, and communication became inconsistent with delayed or no responses.
In the end, I had to raise a dispute through my bank, which was decided in my favour.
Overall, the product did not perform as advertised, and the returns process made it extremely difficult to resolve what should have been a straightforward issue. The change of company name since my purchase only adds to my concerns.
I would not recommend purchasing based on my experience.

Convenience Taming Unruly Short Hair
I’m definitely enjoying the convenience of my GoBrush Pro! I am happy I don’t have to worry about burning the back of my neck with the curling iron to “tame” my short hair now! I was concerned about the charger I ordered later taking what I thought was a long time, but I checked with Customer Service for help & “Zy” was very helpful tracking the charger order & it arrived shortly thereafter!

Refund policy is misleading
Refund policy is misleading. States 30 day return. The fine print states you pay for return shipping. Ok. That’s understandable. However nothing is said about the return having to be sent to their only warehouse IN CHINA. The cost for that could be $100 or more. Seems like false advertising to me. They also market to seniors. Many of us on limited incomes. I can’t afford to ship to China. I also didn’t like the product, ergo the return. It just didn’t work on my fine short hair. So now I’ve wasted money on a crappy appliance. They offer 2 options; keep the brush and get a 30% refund. Or keep the brush, perhaps gift it and choose another product for less money as a refund. Why would I gift this item that I didn’t like at all? Why would I want another item from a company like this? BUYER BEWARE. BUYER BEWARE.
