I bought sauna and red light therapy…

I bought sauna and red light therapy mat relying on their website reviews, Big mistake. I was disappointed right away when I opened the box. Strong chemical smell, very cheap, flimsy material, thin you can just tell right away it’s cheap. The sauna had a hole, stitches are poorly sewn, doesn’t heat up after two hours. I packed it back in the box right away and contacted their customer service. No response after two weeks, then received an email they have closed my case due to non response?!? I replied right away but been told I don’t meet their requirements to return. It’s so insane and scammy. Please don’t waste energy on their products. Seems like they are supplied by Chinese company that doesn’t care about the quality.

I recently bought the red light body…

I recently bought the red light body size mat. I am very happy with. I am older so I was a little unsure setting it up and I called support and got help right sway. It was a very good experience.

I am very disappointed

I am very disappointed. Ordered this red-light therapy bag and it took over 6 weeks to receive. When I got it I opened the box and there were no directions or guidance on opening or setting up. I could scan the QR code and read the directions--nowhere did it say that one couldn't open the plastic bags or it was non-returnable. Even when I had to open to see the FALSE ADVERTISING component. No plastic covering over the red light part for easier cleaning. When I commented about this to support, they advised I clean with a damp cloth and Isopropyl alcohol--that would be fine with a plastic cover, but with a foam cover that is not possible. Their advertising pictures show a clear plastic cover covering the lights. I advised them of this and wanted to return, and they will not accept since they have been taken out of the sealed plastic bags (that doesn't say anywhere that it is non-returnable if removed). They have a 30 day return policy that is prominently displayed, but then won't accept the return on something that one couldn't see without opening the bag AND is prominently displayed on their advertisement and instruction pictures.

Nuvio's Red Light Therapy mat is a…

Nuvio's Red Light Therapy mat is a great product.Both my wife an I use it daily (83 & 87 years old). It does work and is very easy and convenient to use.

We use the product, then go into our home sauna 5 - 7 days a week. The Red Light mat just enhances the overall benefits of keeping in shape. I recommend this Nuvio product to everyone.

I recieved my Nuvio mat and it would…

I recieved my Nuvio mat and it would not power up. I contacted the support team and was instructed to try a few simple task to detirmine what the issue might be. I sent them a short video of the task and what it would and would not do. I recieved a new power pack/unit as promised within a few days and the mat start working as it should. The contact was via email, it was timely and responsive. In my opinion they did a great job!

I bought a smaller one from another…

I bought a smaller one from another company. I hated it. Then I saw Nuvio's ad. I thought about it for a couple of weeks. I decided to buy it and once I received it in the mail. Trying it was easy. 15 minutes on 1 side and 15 minutes on the other side. I did start with 10 min, then 20, then 30. I could tell it helped my pain after the 20 minutes.

I love my red light mat

I love my red light mat. The only reason I’m giving 4 ⭐️ is because it arrived with a faulty plug. However, I emailed customer service and they responded the same day with an apology and a quick remedy to resolve the issue. They shipped a new plug out immediately.

Excellent Product

We were skeptics because my husband and I both have shoulder, back, and sciatica issues. We do HIIT training three days a week and walk daily. When we saw the sale on the mat, we thought we would try it out. We lay on the mat daily for 30 minutes. We are feeling a difference. I am not sure why, but my night vision was horrible, but since using the mat, my eyes have gotten better and not having as many issues driving at night. Coincidence, maybe, but not sure. I'll take that as another win. I have also convinced our buddy to purchase a mat as well. He too is a gym guy and has pain issues. He loves it as well. If you have pain issues or just want to use this for overall well being, I encourage you to try this out, you won't be disappointed.

I have been using nuvio products since 2024

I have been using nuvio products since 2024, chillers pods and now the red light mat. There was a small issue with the mat but as soon as I contacted nuvio they were on it and once i sent the pictures, they shipped out a new mat! It was quick and effective and I was back to my recovery routine for training in grappling. It’s very important that a fast response was happening because I need to recover from the hard training (bjj, wrestling, judo, striking) 5 days a week. The cold plunge chiller has been a lifesaver, and the red light mat was added 3 weeks ago and used it every day. I have a sauna but not their brand but may look to get there sauna sometime soon just to complete my line up. Since they have been great to use and work with I can’t recommend them more

Dishonest on their website…

They are dishonest on their website about what all is included with your purchase and when you push back they just default to the owner manual being more clear. But by that point you’ve already purchased it. They also do not care about early adopters of their tools at all.

Abysmal customer service via email and chat bots

I have spent the past 5 days attempting to return a red light mat. It started as a simple price adjustment question since the mat went on sale for approximately $50 less between my purchase time and the ship time. When I asked about the price adjustment the product had yet to ship. They refused a price adjustment so I chose to return the product. They then wanted to know if it had been used (they hadn't shipped it yet). I let them know it hadn't been shipped and could be canceled vs returned. I even reordered it at the available sale price. Well, they've shipped it, they still haven't provided a return address. It feels like stalling tactics gone wild. They send one email communication a day, resulting in a simple request taking an entire week to accomplish. They frequently re-ask the same question for confirmation so no progress is being made. I have no confidence in the company anymore, and consequently no confidence in their product. Save yourself a headache, and an attorney generals dispute, and better business bureau dispute. Use a different product.

Due to the high demand for the new red light mat I’ve yet to receive it for maybe another week or so but the communication between the customer service department and me is exceptional, not sure it it’s AI or human as I always have a name on the correspondence and really don’t care because I get a honest answer

Nuvio Infrared Mat is my new best friend

I ordered the Infrared Therapy Mat from Nuvio when it was on sale, and I'm glad I did. I have health conditions that make it hard for me to work and I rarely have a good day when I'm feeling good, and I've tried just about EVERY gadget available, relief creams, supplements, OTC and RX and got very little relief. I am a big fan of Infrared Therapy and have a few smaller items which are great but I thought if I can get one for my whole body I would have more relief. It came packaged well with easy instructions, dark glasses to protect the eyes and seems to be professional therapy quality. I really feel a difference in using one for the whole body over the smaller infrared belts that I try to move around (but it takes so long to use it on different areas). I used the Nuvio mat for a half hour. I have it set up in a separate room and I think I'll have no problem adding it to my nightly routine. I felt completely relaxed after and felt much better. I was able to purchase it using my medical FSA funds and it has been the best purchase. Now I want to get one for my mom, and I would definitely recommend ordering from Nuvio. I had a question about delivery and customer service responded quickly and let me know when to expect it. I will also recommend this to friends, coworkers and my physical therapist in case other patients are interested. And by the way, I have received no compensation for writing this review.

AI-Generated/Fake Reviews on Website

I asked an AI to assess the likelihood of the red light mat reviews being legitimate (versus AI-built) product reviews. Based on what it told me, there is an incredibly high likelihood that the product reviews on their site are AI-generated/fake.

Don't believe me? Ask your favorite AI the following question followed by a sample of your choice of the red light mat reviews: "You are an expert in identifying and distinguishing AI-built product reviews from real product reviews. There is an incredible similarity in the lengths of these product reviews, which caught my eye. What's your take on the likelihood of these being legitimate (versus AI-built) product reviews?"

Follow it up with the following: "Here is the entire corpus of their reviews - please break down the linguistic markers and compare them to known AI-generated text patterns:" and attach the entire set of reviews.

My AI tool came to the following conclusion: "Based on linguistic, structural, and corpus‑level analysis, the probability that this entire review set is AI‑generated or AI‑assisted is extremely high. The consistency is too perfect, the phrasing too repetitive, the narratives too templated, and the reviewer identities too uniform for this to be a natural collection of human reviews."

If Nuvio can't be trusted to post real reviews, can they be trusted with their specs, their return policy, their warranty, etc.? Not with my money, thanks.

WARNING NO REFUND POLICY ONCE YOU OPEN

WARNING NO REFUND POLICY! We purchased our chiller in Dec 2025 and received it very quickly. It worked great and that is not the issue. After researching and believing cold would help a lower back issue it actually made it worse and after about 2 1/2 weeks we can no longer use. I thought I saw you could return within 30 days. Well in the small details that is only for unopened and unused and you pay the shipping.

I can understand the tubing and pump attachments which are minimal. The main cost is the chiller motor box and there is no way that should not be returnable.

I agree after looking at several reviews their customer service is absolutely zero stars. No way to speak to a human email or text. They responded to one email saying sorry nothing we can unless it's not working and never responded to my text. Very concerning on how they are operating.

I couldn’t give it zero stars, or I would. December 31, 2025 they took my money. January 3, 2026 they said they ran out of stock and wouldn’t get more for 12-18 days. January 6, 2025 I asked for a cancelation and refund of my purchase price. They offered me $75 cash back and I rejected. Said I just want a cancelation and refund. Then they offered $80 cash back. I said no, I just want cancelation and refund. This morning I chatted online and was told my order had not been fulfilled and was assured I could get cancelation and refund. Then this afternoon I receive an email stating my order has been shipped. UPS label created after 3:00PM today after I was told 8:00AM I would receive cancelation and refund. I’m returning as soon as I receive, that is, if they’ll respond to me in a timely enough matter for me to be within the return window. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Very poor customer service.

We love our nuvio chiller

We love our nuvio chiller. The cold plunges are a great health tool. We took extra steps to keep the water clean like adding an extra, separate filter with a UV light to kill bacteria. Using a dobie pad, we lightly scrub the inner surfaces periodically whenever it feels a little slimy and we use a fine mesh net to scoop out any floating scum. These steps keep the water clean far longer. Recommend the tub vs the pod as you can stretch out in the tub. Once we made these fine tunings the product serves us well.
