DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ipurchased items from them back in January, returned it, received confirmation that they received but as of April 2024 I haven't received my refund. I have emailed them multiple times and no response. They have to be investigated because this is some shady company now. They are not the New York & Company I shopped before.

Visited the US from the UK and ordered a skirt a week before I was due to fly back home. I paid for expedited shipping so that I could guarantee that my items would be with me before I reached you to go home. Two days before I was supposed to fly home. I realise that I didn’t have the package so I emailed the company to see the status of my order as I hadn’t even received a dispatch notice yet. to this day, I am still waiting for a response to my email, even though this was over two weeks ago. Despite ordering over three weeks ago, I have not even got a confirmation that my order has been confirmed, let alone has been shipped. Yet, they were really quick to take my money!

Luckily for me I paid for my order on a credit card so I was able to get my money back through my credit card company for nondelivery of items and a breach of contract. The fashions look great. The website is very snazzy.

There is absolutely no customer service whatsoever. They are taking money and not delivering any product in any other sector at any other time this would be considered as fraud.

Do not use them.

I purchased items from New York and Company back in January 2024. I received my items beginning week of February and returned two of the items. I purchased those items with the New York & Co creditcard. I received a return confirmation but they never refunded the cost of the items to my credit card. I’ve contacted them by phone and email over the past few months but no return call or email and I still have the outstanding balance on my credit card.

I have ordered from this company for many years, with no issues. However, the order I placed on March 18, 2024 still hasn't made it to me yet. I called and emailed multiple tomes with no response. No response, not a peep. I have a store card with them, and I made a return from a purchase in earlier February of 2024. On February 15, 2024, I received an email saying “Your return was delivered via UPS on Feb 15th, 2024. Due to a high volume of orders, we are experiencing a delay in processing returns. Please allow additional time to receive your refund. We appreciate your patience, and you will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete. Please note, that depending on your original payment method, it may take additional days for a return credit to appear on your credit card or bank statement.” It is now April 5th, 2024, and no credit back to my NY&Co store card. I am now getting an interest charge on an item that I returned. I reached out to the card company any the said they cannot issue a refund. While I had them on the phone. They called NY& Co and could not get a hold of them as well. They have lost a customer

Beware of New York and Co. Very unreliable, unprofessional and cannot be trusted.

The merchandise delivered almost a month and email numerous times and advised to cancel due to service is extremely bad. Requesting a refund is a stressful due to company is a thief.

Do not buy any of their merchandise. The picture on the site is very misleading.

Calling 1 (855) 746-7692 is a nightmare. No one picks up and left numerous messages for call back and no one cares to assist.

The customer service is UNACCEPTABLE.

Listen to the other reviewers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Unfortunately, I discovered too late.

I've ordered from them in the past maybe 3 or 4 yrs ago and never had an issue. However, things have changed badly.

I'm starting to wonder if they are based in a foreign country because of their shady business practices. It's been 2 weeks and my $300+ worth of clothing has not been shipped; only a shipping label was created. They do not respond to emails or calls so don't waste your time.

It's a shame I had to do a chargeback with my credit card company. That is what I recommend the rest of you do if you have ordered something and have not received it within the 5-7 business days their site alleges.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! You will not receive it in a timely manner, and their customer service people do not respond to calls or email. A scam operation!

I ordered a sweater at the beginning of March and there never was any tracking info available for my order. Thank God I ordered through PayPal and got my money back. I tried to reach out to them through email and by phone with no response. This is very unacceptable. I will never order from them again!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I returned a few items early January. They acknowledged they received it and as of March 27, I still have not received my refund. They refuse to respond to emails and keep extending the expected turnaround time, showing they are holding on to the money. The sales are NOT worth it.

Every time you order something from this company it takes them weeks to ship your package out. You paid the extra $9.99 to get your package shipped early your package still don’t come when they say it’s gonna come every time you call you get nobody on the phone you email them it take days for them to email you back they always get an excuse about the shipment. They don’t like to refund your money back that you pay extra to get it ship sooner Bad customer service I will never order from them again

I used to absolutely love New York & Company when they were stores through out the state. The quality of clothing and styles were amazing. Now that they are strictly online, the quality , sizing consistency, and styles are horrible! There was a huge sale the other day and I was unsure of the size I should get for some pants in fear of having to return them. Thankfully I had some old pants from NY&CO so was able to determine the size I would possibly need, and the ones I ordered actually fit. But it doesn't happen like that all the time for everyone. I just went on the site to order some more items and everything I selected was final sale!!!
The fact that EVERYTHING is NOW FINAL SALE, NO RETURNS is outrageous! This is a great way for them to lose all their customers. Buying online is already hard enough, but being stuck with clothes that do not fit really sucks.
So I guess I am no longer a customer. They need to rethink their policy and go back to Final Sale for things that are clearance/red line.

I wouldn't recommend getting anything from their site unless it is jewelry or other small accessories that are more than likely going to work out.

This Company needs to be investigated and made to pay people back their hard earned Money. You can’t reach anyone on the phone or by emails. I have tried for days. They take your money for the orders but you never receive anything. It has happened to me 2 times now I see that something is definitely different. I’ve never had problems in the past. I’m definitely going to call and report this to BBB .If They are out of business than shut the online ordering down and Stop robbing people.

As many have stated, I have been a fan of this store for several years. Once the brick-and-mortar stores closed, I noticed that the clothing online was of lower quality. Last year, I decided to try them again and saw they were hit or miss, but I love a few items. In January, I ordered two suits and returned one. I received confirmation that my return was received and waited patiently for the refund. After weeks, I emailed Customer Service and was advised that the refund was processing, and I was offered a discount for a future purchase. Thankfully, I did not fall for that. Now, my request for a status update is ignored. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN, AND PLAN TO FILE BBB AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION COMPLAINTS AND ENCORAGE EVERYONE WITH A SIMILAR ISSUE TO DO THE SAME. I work too hard for my money to be treated this way. BUYER BEWARE!!

I ordered some boots early Dec 2023. It is now march and to this day I still don’t have them. Customer service is a joke… no one ever answers the phone and no reply to emails. The tracking on the item says label created as if it never shipped at all. I used Afterpay to purchase. Thank god Afterpay was able to help me with the refund on their end since I never received my boots . That is my last order with them as the order before that took almost 6 weeks. No more ny&co for me.

5 out of 6 items ordered in December were sent back because sizing on the outside of the package did not match what was inside. Received an email that the returned items were received Jan. 24, 2024. I still don’t have a refund and their website now says all sales are final. Poorest business practices ever experienced. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I have submitted 5 returns since January and none of them have been credited. When I email them, I get a 15 percent off coupon to buy more clothes/items. No response.

Buyers beware NY&C appears to be shutdown. According to Sourcing Journal article dated 3/1/24 “Saadia Group, the owner of fashion sites Lord & Taylor, New York & Co., Fashion to Figure and footwear brand Aquatalia, among others, has been effectively shut down.”

I purchased three sweaters for my daughter. When the package arrived, there were two sweaters even though the packing slip showed three were shipped. Called them multiple times, assured that they were researching the issue. Never heard back from them. Sent multiple emails-no response. I will never do business with this company again.

You cannot get ahold of anyone email addresses are no good phone just rings. I have and t a return back a month ago and have not received refund nor have heard from them at all. Terrible company

Damaged item was sent to me, it took the company two months to return partial of money, they were claiming that they internal return process has failed and it took them two months to return my money and finally they charged me for shipping of the damaged item back and forth.
