Breach of Contract & Possible Fraud
My father made an agreement with this company to purchase gold coins my father owned. They agreed on the price of $22,000. My father sent New York Coin Connection the gold coins and never received the $22,000. When a check was requested in the amount of $22,000 from the company, one of their employees who had been working with my father for years made him believe they were sending the check when in fact, he sent a gold coin, unrelated to my father's coins, with an invoice. He never said a word until the package arrived at my father's home. Now he has to file complaints with the appropriate agencies and hire an attorney to sue NYCC to get his money and other damages. My father is elderly and instead of honoring their agreement, they have tried to manipulate my father. Please do not trust this company. My father had a longstanding professional relationship with them and he still does not have the $22,000 or the coins.
