Written by the company

NYRVA is an independent leather house operating from Brooklyn, New York. We design and produce limited runs of leather and cowhide garments built around material integrity and structure. Our work centers on flared silhouettes, raw hide textures and tension based construction. We do not follow seasonal calendars or trend cycles. Releases are concept driven and produced in controlled quantities. Each piece is developed with durability and long term wear in mind. We prioritize heavyweight materials, reinforced construction and finishing that allows the garment to age with character over time. Our collections are released through structured drops rather than continuous restocks. Because we operate on a limited production model, timelines and policies are clearly defined. Orders are fulfilled within the stated production windows and returns are issued as store credit in accordance with our posted policy. This allows us to maintain quality control while managing small batch output. NYRVA is built for customers who value material depth, rarity and intentional design. We aim to deliver products that hold weight physically and conceptually.

I would not recommend this company to…

I would not recommend this company to no one I know.I definitely will not be ordering anything else. They give you the run around about your order, and I have not received my order and it’s been a month and a half, they only reply saying that your order is out for shipment next week. I give this company a 0 for poor customer service, and the worst for time production.

I had an extremely disappointing and…

I had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience with this merchant.

I placed Order #100841443770 in mid-December under my name and correct address in Sicklerville, NJ. Months later, the order has still not been delivered. Even more troubling, I was informed that the order was somehow associated with an address or information tied to the Bronx, where I do not live.

I find it unacceptable and offensive that another individual’s information appears to have been used or associated with my order. This raises serious concerns about order accuracy, data handling, and customer privacy. No clear explanation or resolution has been provided despite the length of time that has passed.

A delay of months , combined with incorrect personal information on an order, is completely unacceptable for any business. Customers should not have to chase answers or worry about how their personal data is being handled.

I would strongly caution others to think carefully before ordering, especially for high-value items. Until this issue is fully resolved, I cannot recommend this company.

Do not buy the Untitled Cowhide Black Cap

Purchased the Untitled Cowhide Black Cap and was immediately shocked at how poor the quality was. I wrote to customer service to explain my disappointment and they didn't even ask to see photos; they chalked it up to variations with the natural material.

The issues weren't related to the material: every stitch had a loose thread, the inner sides were not sewn or pressed down so the hat bulges out at the side and you can see the foam inside, and there are visible rectangular marks on the sides from improper storage.

I understand a no refunds policy but to not even offer return shipping when it's a quality issue is a huge red flag. Buyer beware - if there's something wrong with your purchase, they won't help you.

hi katrina,

thank you for sharing this. after reviewing your feedback internally, we agree that what you described around loose stitching, visible foam, and improper pressing does not meet our finishing standards.

while our pieces are made from natural hides and no two are identical, construction and finishing should always feel intentional and secure. in this case, the cap did not arrive in the condition it should have, and we take responsibility for that.

we did offer to cover return shipping and issue full store credit once the item was inspected, and we also reviewed this style internally to tighten quality control moving forward.

we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hold us accountable.
