I think there’s room for improvement at the NYU Langone psych ward. There is a problem with the latch on the bathroom door and this did not seem to concern staff, even when it was brought to their attention. Because there is a problem with the latch, it is questionable that they wait outside the bathroom door while patients use it and the door remain ajar. This should be addressed by someone in charge to ensure everyone’s safety.

Today my wife and I had a pre surgery consultation with a Doctor Robert Tenney at N. Y. U. Langone. Doctor Tenney is a true professional with old school bedside manner. He explained every detail to us about the up coming surgery , and answered all of our questions, and put my wife and I at ease with the upcoming event. He should be recognized for his ability and care. My wife and I feel very confident going forward with him at our side.

I STRONGLY advise AVOIDING this health care provider. You've been warned. The doctors seem to be fairly competent, but I wouldn't say that about the staff and how the business is run, and it is run like a business, not a health care facility.

Nyu langone used to be a great…

Nyu langone used to be a great hospital. Alot of things bother me you have to wait months to see Dr in person and then virtual visits are HORRIBLE! I think virtual visits should be removed entirely your Drs on call lack bedsidemanner and care. I called 12/28/25 for a virtual call and my video dropped I did a hardware test and eveything was working fine until they logged in. Two doctors selected me for a visit because the call kept dropping but one Dr decided to pick up a phone and call me about the issue or why I kept logging on and off. I had to reschedule another video visit because they canceled on me and this Dr had the decency to call my phone and ask what was going on. That was okay but I selected ear ache my Dr on the video call tells me he can't do anything because he cant see my ear. Ive been prescribed ear drops from a woman Dr from virtual no issues through nyu langone. To say I need to go to urgent care I wasted a total of 5 hours just to hear no go to urgentcare. I'm really upset with the lack of care, consistency, and virtual bedside manner. The male physicians are always rushing through virtual visits and saying the same thing go to urgent care. The few women physicans I've had on virtual have been consistent, great listeners, and helped me understand and prescribed me something. I'm not happy at all maybe remove earache and sinusitis from the options since no one wants to handle those cases.

Today was a pretty bad day for my…

Today was a pretty bad day for my health, but still there was no excuse for the way that I treated this nurse. Her name was Emma she was so kind to me and I lost it yelling and screaming and cursing at her and I made her cry. I am so sorry for my actions even with everything I put her through she still with tears in her eyes held her compulsion and the only thing she said was that was not nice what you said to me. Dear nurse Emma my please forgive me and thank you for all your kindness and being an amazing nurse. Also thank you to everyone down in the MRI room for helping me remain calm I would also like to thank nurse Orlando for his kindness and great service at NYU langone. Even though I suffer with mental problems the entire staff remained calm, loving, empathetic and caring. This is the number one Hospital in the world. So if you ever put on 17 West you don't have to worry about a thing you will be taken care of properly. I am feeling so much better they definitely have healing hands. Yes yes it's me again miss sugar leaving a great review for NYU langone Hospital. They definitely get five stars here are some of the names of the doctors and nurses that took very good care of me first let me give a big up to the emergency room. Definitely on point second is the staff 17 West. Daniel social worker. Danielle nurse. Dr Larson, Nurse Francesca, Kenneth from dietary. These guys are the best when they said #1 in NY. They were not playing you, get the best care here for adults and children. I wouldn't bet my life on any other Hospital. Love NYU langone thank you guys for taking care of me. Even the rooms are clean. And check out the view. Ms SugarWritten with love and appreciation Ms King

Could Have Been Better of an Experience…

This was my very first time utilizing NYU’s network for a specific doctor and while he wasn’t my first choice, he was after all the one with immediate availability. Thus far he has come through in both instances with my prescription, for which I appreciated, but I’m simply not a fan of his personality, or rather lack thereof. I didn’t find him friendly and approachable. Sure, finding a doctor who is proactive and on top of their game is definitely important but so is finding YOUR doctor - someone whom you feel comfortable and trust your health in their care. This particular doctor is simply churning out as many patients as he can in a day’s time. He’s even told me on a video call recently we have gone over the allotted time, which I’m anticipating to be within half an hour, and we’ve only gone over 15 minutes. Not the type of doctor I felt listens and cares about you as a patient. Surely, that was not a good look. I’m hoping the few doctors I have on my radar to see will be much better than him but of course they’re highly in demand and I’ll have to wait a bit. Time couldn’t come sooner enough! Other than that, the staff members I’ve met and have spoken to were on their game.

Best Doctors, Staff & Facility

Best doctors, best staff and more importantly the best facility. Take a look at new Kimmel building, nurses and staff were referring to it like a hotel instead of hospital. Also food is really good for a hospital, for both inpatients and outpatients.
