Had previous loans with Oakham no…

Had previous loans with Oakham no problems, all paid on time. Have applied for a new loan for an unexpected expenditure for a "computer says no" normal blurb, "we really don't like to say no, apply again in a month". My financial circumstances have infact improved since my first loan so cannot see what the problem is. Oakham are no different to others and do not treat people as individuals and not numbers. No doubt I will get a reply saying that they are a responsible lender ect. Since it has all gone down to only being able to apply over the app it has gone downhill rapidly.

Long time customer

Even though I hadn't asked for a credit to Oakam for over 2 years, they had kept my details and the decision was extremely fast. They made sure I was able to pay the loan back and the few times I called, they were friendly and knowledgeable.

Was told to wait 45 days to apply for a…

Was told to wait 45 days to apply for a top up then was refused as they ask you to put down figures for outgoings that you don’t even have to pay out resulting in your disposable income being lower than it actually is, I never missed a payment even through lockdown and even cleared my account early

Thank you. My credit score isn’t great but these have taken a chance on me about 4 times now over the last year.
Once application is accepted payment is normally in my bank within 10 minutes.

Currently have a loan

Currently have a loan, on app says I can top up but hadn’t needed too, but now I’m at a point we’re I do need to apply for the top up. Connects to my bank then nothing, called company twice to be fobbed off!!!! Told 2 different things.

Absolute joke and still got nowhere!!!!

Con Artists

SO I SHOULD HAVE SAID 1ST. I DON'T HAVE A GMAIL ACCOUNT I USED MY PARTNERS TRUST PILOT IN MY STEAD.

ALL OTHER DETAILS ARE FACT.

So I owed 3 payments, never missed a payment out of 23 of 26.
So decided to pay £17.33 x 3...total £51.99.

Decided to pay by bank transfer, as my new card n pin where in transit/post.

Paid in full on the day the 3rd to last payment was due, got the correct sort n account number off customer service.

Paid through Barclays.
Barclays confirmed payment to the correct bank account, I put the correct reference on the payment to my loan account.

I did everything correct.

After numerous emails, including a photo of the date n time off Barclays confirming payment.

This load of "Chancers" are saying they haven't received it, it should have bounced back.

Again Barclays confirmed they received it within 10 minutes of me sending it.

Now they want to charge me again😭😭😭

I have now involved the FCA, and given them all the details.

I should be receiving compensation for all this stress...

Just a load of con artists, please leave well alone, I won't be touching this lot again with a barge pole.
