Very poor

Was told i was accepted for a loan, the money was never transferred a day later, called them, was told it would be transferred soon, still never appeared. called again, they told me I had entered my bank details incorrectly, which I knew I hadnt. Told me to apply again, and that I would be accepted, applied again and I was refused. Dont bother with them.

Awful company

Awful company, avoid at all costs. Ridiculously high interest rates, and will constantly offer you more money. Do not do proper credit checks and fail to provide service they should offer and do due diligence. Had to put in an affordability complaint due to not following guidelines.

Never heard back

Applied for a loan.. never heard back…

I applied for a loan over 24hours ago. The message that came up was that the access I had given to my bank wasn’t working and that they’d be in touch. I tried to call to chase my application but I couldn’t get through the phone line. No rejection, but no acceptance email either. Confused.com

Never take top up as they don't gona give you it

The first and second loan was fine money was quickly.after that I wanted to use top up option as oakam offered me top up but got declined okay I don't know why I got aggai offer from oakam to top up my loan okay I have it done aggain and got declined aggain so basically they are not here to make up credit score but they are here to broke it with these hard searches will pay my loan and never come back to oakam as I am loyal customer Aswill.and I don't understand why u offer to use top up if u can't give one.so I have 2 hard searches im my credit file because oakam is giving offer but after all they declined it.waste off time this place is.

If a customer is declined, they are not eligible to reapply for 30 days. If they attempt to apply again within that time, no credit bureau checks are run on that customer. If the customer decides to reapply after 30 days, this is treated as a new application. We can see that you have tried to apply numerous times in the last few days - but don't worry, these did not cause extra credit bureau searches.

Very efficient service

Very efficient service. I completed the application and within minutes the money was in my bank account. I was offered different options and easily found one that suited me which was great. Very happy to do future business with Oakham!

Help Needed

Hello! I have just taken out a £200 loan and there is no option to early repay it ANYWHERE on the app or the website. I dont want to pay £176 interest as i can pay it off by end of July. How do i pay more than weekly? I want to make one big repayment? Could anybody help?

Hi Sophie - you can pay off you loan in full by calling one of our team on 02039 111 777. Our contact centre is open Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 7:00pm and on Saturdays between 9:00am and 6:00pm.

You should also be able to settle your loan in the app. It could be that you can't see this option because you're using an older version of the app. Please make sure you're using the latest version by visiting the app store (either Google Play or Apple depending on your device) and updating the Oakam app.
