Absolutely not recommended!!

Absolutely not recommended!! This is the end result of a $400+ Luxury Detail from Oak City Detailing. Both front seats had visible dirt in the crack of the seat. None of the trim on the outside of the car was treated. The jam areas of the car still had visible dirt on them. They also did not clay bar the roof of the car and then they only spray waxed from the bottom of the window down. I actually have that part on my security camera. This is supposed to be a premium detail service. The owner offered 30% off or to come back and remedy the issues. Why would I want a company to come back and fix this? This was not a small miss, this was a bunch of services designated as part of the luxury detail that was not done as expected. I suggested we settle at a 50% discount, I was trying to be fare as they really only did 50% of the work that was advertised. Most people would have not paid for this at all. The owner Walter responded back and said that he would only do 30% off and that I looked at it at completion and okayed the work. Yeah, I did not think that I had to do quality control for a $400+ detail. My girlfriend later pointed out these issues and she is not even into car detailing, it was just that obvious. Either live up to the level of product advertised or understand that you had a miss on a day and correct it appropriately and move on. Had you done the right thing I was not even going to leave a negative review.

Adding to my original post, this is the reply from the owner of Oak
K
City Auto Detailing stating that his technician was there detailing the
Ithon afford, 30% dicent t
car for over 4 hours and that is
longer than the average time for this detail.

Responding back to the owners reply unfortunately his technician was in front of a security camera that has timestamps, so I have pictures and video of exactly when they came and left. The technician arrived in his truck at 2:42pm and left at 5:52pm. After parking that equates out to less then three hours spent working on our car.

Hey John, my technician spent more than three hours detailing your vehicle and missed the trim shine and the clay and wax on the roof. Before he left the job, you told him you were satisfied.

You called me the following day with your concerns, and I offered to come out on the spot to take care of anything you wanted done.

You declined my offer, justifying yourself by saying "you would have to wash the car again", which I was more than glad to do. We cannot fix the issues you were so frustrated about if you decline our offer to perform a callback.

I then offered a 30% discount to try to appease you, as more than the majority of the service was done but that was still not enough.

While I hate receiving a negative review, we were more than fair in this situation. It seems you only cared about money, and not the issues you were so adamant about.

Edit: 2:42-5:52 is 3 hrs and 10 minutes to help you out.

John is leaving these reviews across multiple platforms and then saying he will take them down over text if he gets 50% off. Blackmailing a small business over $80 after we have reached out offering to come back same day multiple times. All of which he has denied.
