I am new to Oar, and I am happy to have found them. The application process is simple and straightforward. Great communication from Oar. Slight side effects when beginning the medication, this is my 3rd week and my cravings for alcohol have decreased and I don’t miss it! It works if you’re ready to commit to drink less or stop drinking all together.

The medication has made me nauseus. I have started taking a half dose, it still seems to work. I haven't had anything to drink for four weeks. Not sure if it is the medication or just will power, but I haven't wanted a drink during this period.

Well, not sure if it’s a placebo effect or not but I don’t feel any different except I’m more mindful of my drinking habits. I feel nothing as far as side effects, and it’s not like my desire to drink is gone, I’m not sure what it is doing for me, honestly.
I have maintained a one drink per day for several days, which is down from 3, which is good, but I feel like im doing all the work, and not sure I’m getting any help from this drug.
I’m happy to be working on it, can’t call it a miracle cure though.

Oar Health has been a tremendous help to me. I have significantly reduced my daily alcohol in take from 4 to 6 drinks daily to only 4 drinks total over the last 2 weeks. The Naltrexone really takes the edge off the my cravings. By almost eliminating alcohol, my sleep ,digestion, energy level ,mood, and skin have dramatically improved. Although my "sick" alcohol dependant mind tries to convince me that " drinking is ok because it is fun" , the medication helps to control those thoughts by minimizing the cravings. Although this will be an ongoing battle, I now feel that I now have the tools to Win this fight with alcohol dependency. Thank you Oar Health!!

This has made controlling my alcohol so easy that I almost feel guilty. The first 5 days were a little rough on my tummy. But since then I have zero side effects. I do not have the craving for alcohol. I am no longer jittery and anxious. Every day my life improves. I am sleeping better, have more energy and can think and function more efficiently.

Everything from Oar has been exactly as advertised. On Naltrexone for just two weeks and I have noticed a difference already. Doing this to cut way back on binge drinking. So far so good.

So far so good. I like the emails talking about what to expect and words of encouragement . I also reached out to Dr to discuss concerns where upon she replied promptly. She seemed human. I hope she was. ( and not ai)

UPDATE: OAR issued a full refund. I really appreciate this.
This product gave me migraines. Additionally, I was unaware (or forgot) that I would be automatically renewed/charged - either way I never received notification/alert that a new shipment was scheduled to ship and my credit card was going to be charged. I only received notification after my card was charged. I replied immediately to stop shipment because I will not use this product. They will not refund. My card was charged $297 for a product I will not use. Every other service I use on subscription will send a notification prior to shipping with the option to cancel or delay shipment. I received no notification from OAR. This is bad business and feels like a scam. Do not buy this product.
UPDATE: In response to OAR's reply to this review. I did *not* receive an email ahead of payment/shipment. You prescribed me a 3-month supply of medication without consulting me. Again, I subscribe to other services that do send an email reminder ahead of shipment with options to skip, edit, or cancel. NO such email came from OAR. I hear what you are saying: That your subscription terms are "clear" but it so incomprehensible to me how you could continue to prescribe medication to a patient without ever consulting them! Even with subscription! Your billing practices are suspect... more like a scam business than a real medical provider. It is clear that OAR is concerned with profit over patient care.

My life has been saved. I have struggled with alcohol addiction since college always trying to modify my behavior to no avail. I am 68 yrs old and I am feeling in control. Thank you!
Praise God!
