I booked a bus ticket through Obilet while traveling in Turkey.
On February 23, 2025, I arrived at the designated departure point in Istanbul before the scheduled time. However, the bus never arrived.
There was no announcement, no delay notice, and no staff available. I was left waiting with no information.
I contacted Obilet support to request assistance and a refund, but I did not receive any meaningful response.
Please note: Trustpilot only allows me to select a recent date (April 18, 2026 or later), but this incident actually happened on February 23, 2025. I am stating the correct date here for accuracy.
Only later did I realize that Obilet positions itself as an “intermediary,” which makes it very difficult to get support when something goes wrong. From a customer perspective, this means you can pay for a service, not receive it, and still be left without support.
The bus operator listed on my ticket was Kamil Koç. Since the booking and payment were handled through Obilet, I expected at least basic support or guidance, but that did not happen.
This experience was stressful and unacceptable, especially in a foreign country.
If you are considering using Obilet, be aware of this risk.
I have now contacted the bus company directly and am waiting for their response. I will update this review accordingly.
This company is just there to make money between you and the bus companies. I had a bus that broke barely one hour after it left. It took more than 5 hours for a replacement bus to arrive. I had a flight to catch and the bus wouldn't arrive on time and I had to book an expensive flight midway in order to catch my return flight. After talking with client service, they don't want to know anything and take no responsibility and don't even pay back the bus ticket because the "bus arrived at destination" (with more than 5 hrs delay).
Untrustworthy and useless. Next time I'll book directly through the bus company.

I have booked a bus ticket for my husband through their apps. My husband showed up at the correct bus platform but no bus there. His bus supposed to depart at 7am. He waited till 7:30am but the bus still not show up. I have contacted their online customer service. They could not locate the vehicle and contact the bus company Lider Istanbul. They did provide me contact number of Lider. I called but no one answer. My husband has forced to buy another bus ticket with another company depart 7 hours later. I spent another Euro60. I have requested refund of my original ticket. Obilet says they are waiting for Lider to respond. It's has been nearly 3 days. I have just contacted Lider (with the same number I phoned that morning) and they claimed that my husband's ticket was not on their system, but he did says our number was not Turkish number. They had tried so hard to contact us?! How he know if my husband's details if he did not see his booking. I do not know which side lies. All I want is to get my refund immediately.

We bought our tickets online but there was no bus at the time ( and that day overall ) and we had to pay 70€ for a taxi, so we don’t miss our flight.

I am very disappointed with the service. I made a mistake with the departure time and asked to have it changed. I spoke on the chat with seven different people, because every two minutes the person replying changes and you have to explain everything from the beginning again. In the end, the only thing they could offer was to exchange it for a voucher worth half the value. Very disappointing. I would not recommend them.

I was trying to book a bus ticket from Xanthi-Greece to Istanbul~Turkey. I clicked on normal ticket one way, without option to change date. When I checked out and I was ready to pay, suddenly I saw another increased price with option to change date! I clicked back and started again the process but, again the increased the price with option to change date! Of course I left the site immediately!

We booked bus tickets through this platform. We had a fly on January 1, 2026, and to get to the airport, we booked bus tickets. We waited for the bus for over an hour in cold weather. The bus never arrived, the bus trip was canceled. No one informed us about this. This is disgusting service.

Your statement that my request was reviewed two weeks ago is incorrect. My case was reviewed more than three months ago.
At that time, you claimed that a round-trip ticket was issued to me by mistake. This claim is completely false. Your own records, confirmation emails, and payment receipts clearly show that I was charged for both outbound and return flights and was issued a confirmed round-trip ticket.
Despite this, you failed to honor the return portion of the ticket and provided no assistance. As a direct result of your negligence, my friend and I were stranded in Moscow and were forced to purchase new tickets at our own expense, resulting in a financial loss of approximately USD 2,000. This incident caused us severe stress and significant inconvenience.
To date, you have refused to refund the amount or take responsibility for the damages caused.
This matter remains unresolved and is unacceptable. I demand a full review of this case, reimbursement of all incurred costs, and a written explanation. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with formal complaints through consumer protection and other appropriate legal channels.

I just bought a ticket from obilet company and the moment I bought it they sent me a whataspp message saying that my ticket was converted by a coupon. Didn't understand why. I spent 16 leva for my ticket and the coupon was of 14 leva. so I lost my money and my ticket as well. bas experience. I tried to reach the the customer's support but no way they could understand the situation. never again.

Please avoid this company. You book a bus through them for a country outside Turkey and when the bus never turns up instead of a refund they give you some coupons you can use in turkey..? So, definitely avoid this company, they don't want to take responsibility.

Issue fully resolved. Changed the stars to 5.
I bought 2 tickets separately from obilet, and paid. I needed to make an account. Which I did. And then... I cannot login, to download and print the tickets.
Nothing. The website keeps loading (yeah, right...)
I received a WhatsApp confirmation for the 2nd ticket. That I can open. The first one, though (previous date) I cannot download nor access another way.
Thrown away money. Don't use it!

I booked two tickets from Varna to Obzor. The bus NEVER CAME. Noone answered at the phone numbers listed for assistance. When I requested a refund for a service never provided, they just say that the bus was there on time and that the driver tried to call me multiple times. I proved to them that noone called me at that point, so however told them that the bus was there on time and that they called me obviously is lying. But they just stick to their story. NO REFUND. AVOID SCAM company.

Very bad scammer company. I bought s ticket from Constanta to Varna. The location of departure was missing. The phones on the ticket was not relevant. The chat-support can not help at all. AVOID buying tickets from Obilet!!!!
