Visited with friend to celebrate a birthday. I ate the sea bass with a fresh salad. Fish was moist thick and tasty. Salad was a mix with delightfully fresh and tasty fruit. Very fresh and crispy. Food excellent. Sad in today’s environment you are asked to pay before you eat but what I ate was worth every penny and I will be back again soon to sample the crab.

I believe its the owner who greets you with "have we booked a table ?" We both had haddock chips peas and a pot of tea for 2 for just under £30 the fish was delicious chips were ok tea wasnt great. The size of the portion was like we had ordered a SPECIAL fish and chips not a regular. They ask if you want sugar for your tea and then proceed to bring you a couple of sachets so your straight into asking for more sugar and sweeteners BORING!!! I dont want to keep trying to get the attention of a colleague to get some more - sort yourselves out
The food hear is great portions are more than what is expected. Despite the name they do other food burger, gammon and more as an alternative if your with a group but not a fish person. Staff are great Elliot served us and anything we asked more than willing to accommodate food was fresh and quick to arrive and piping hot. Not far from the ocean front.

Beautifully presented food that tasted great and was local. The waitress, Dana, was lovely and very accomodating to allergies and preferences. Was easily able to book a table whilst still being covid safe.
Great staff and owner, lovely meals. highly recommend.
