Terrible experiencia con la instalación de energía solar y aerotermia (Octopus España)
Octopus debía instalar energía solar y aerotermia en mi casa en Madrid. Toda la planificación se realizó mediante videollamada y se aprobó.
Primero fue la instalación solar: el equipo llegó, subió al tejado y dijo que no podían instalarla debido a la estructura del tejado. También rompieron algunas tejas. No recibí ninguna llamada de Octopus, solo un correo electrónico una semana después diciendo que habían cancelado mi instalación (después de que yo ya hubiera pagado más de 400 euros en tasas del ayuntamiento, etc.). Decepcionante, pero lo entiendo. Es una pena que no hicieran una visita al lugar para confirmarlo.
Lo segundo fue la instalación de la bomba de calor. Los artículos se entregaron un día tarde, después de que yo hubiera pedido permiso en el trabajo. Tuvimos que vaciar nuestro depósito de gasóleo el día anterior, con más de 350 litros de combustible, corriendo con los gastos (1000 euros). Luego, más tarde ese mismo día, recibimos un mensaje de texto diciendo que cancelaban la instalación porque no podían bajar la bomba de calor por las escaleras. Además, yo había gastado otros 500 euros en tasas del ayuntamiento.
Así que perdí tres días de trabajo por las dos instalaciones, dos o tres meses de mi tiempo y 2000 euros de gastos, solo para que me dijeran «lo sentimos, cancelamos las instalaciones». Ahora me he quedado en casa sin calefacción ni agua caliente y solo con un mensaje de WhatsApp diciendo «lo sentimos por las molestias»...

Terrible experience with solar and heat pump install
Octopus were meant to install solar and aerotermia (heat pump). All planning was done via video call and approved.
First was the solar install - the team arrived, went on the roof and said they couldn't install it due to the roof structure. They also broke some tiles. No phone call from Octopus, just an email a week later saying they'd cancelled my installation (after I had already paid 400+ euros for ayuntamiento fees etc.) Disappointing, but I can understand - it's a shame they didn't do a site visit to confirm.
Second was the heat pump install. Items were delivered a day late after I had taken time off work. We had to empty our oil tank the day before, with 350+L of fuel in at our own expense (1000 euros). Then we get a text later in the day saying they are cancelling the install because they can't carry the heat pump down the stairs. Also I had spent another 500 euros on ayuntamiento fees.
So I wasted 3 days off work for the 2 installs, 2-3 months of my time, 2000 euros of expense, only to be told 'sorry, we're cancelling the installations'. Now I'm left at home with no heating or hot water and just a 'sorry for the trouble' whatsapp message...
