I was too trusting of Anthony's 'Can Do' attitude and gave him too much credit for his age. He had a Cow Boy idea of himself, taking on too much responsibility and promising more than he could deliver. He made some poor decisions and I lost what I consider a lot of money.
I had someone else complete what he'd already charged me for at quarter the cost with considerate commu ication, whereas Anthony ghosted me, avoiding his business commitment, prior to his business failing and closing altogether for a fortnight, supposedly sold. at one stage. Very stressful and anxious time. He did one aspect of the work contracted really well, charging double what could have been done locally.

We too have been ripped off and lied to by Anthony at off grid 4×4 . Order a caravan pay a $5000 deposit in august 2024 delivery december 2024 . Rang this pathetic liar about van early december to be told his truck in melbourne picking it up .Ok this is when after still hearing no more about the van i contacted the supplier of van spoke to general manager and was advised that no order was in there list of customers and no money had been paid to them on our caravan ! Rang anthony who blatantly lied to me saying that he had purchased it and truck is picking it up ( 3 weeks later after he already picked it up ) i called his bluff and told him he is just a thief and liar wanted my deposit back ! I also went to CBS and lawyers but to no avail . He kept the money and still has a problem answerig emails and phone calls . Never trust this company i was advised by legal and the supplier of our van . 👎

My experience was good in the beginning now not so Much. Ordered a new Caravan through Off grid 4x4 wait 5 weeks for it to arrive then went out to pick it up. Before taking it we inspected it. it had dents scratches and a melted outside light so we rejected it and said no so we where offered a different model which we took. 3 weeks later early December 2024 we inspected it and found a few things wrong (not major) a small crack in the kitchen Bench top and some scratch marks on the pull out pantry they noted them down and we took the van. we went on three week trip and came back and put it in for its first service and to have those warranty things fixed.dropped in on the 20th of January 2025 3 months later there telling me star vision was sending parts and no parts turned up and they no longer sell star vision vans due to star vision not paying them for warranty work. i then get a new kitchen bench made for the van out of my own pocket and redeliver it to them. It,s now May 12th in a week it will have been in there hands for 5 months. and i have had enough this review is for people wanting to purchase a van from there. My advice is Don't ! oh and the whole time zero contact i have to email every damn time and the remember the first van well thats long gone but is still registered in my name and i have been receiving traffic fines for it and Anthony has told me months ago he will get it sorted well guess what IT HAS NOT BEEN SORTED !!!!!! It's now July 19 my van has been there 7 months ! have notified Acc and am proceeding with legal action Against Anthony and Off grid 4x4. In 7 months i have lost $840 in insurance and forking out for a kitchen bench that is under warranty.Anthony the owner has lied to me on more than 4 occasions.this guy is happy to take your money after that doesn't give a shit be warned.he blames Star Vision and his staff and everyone else but takes no responsibility even though he is the owner of the said Business.Wow this guy can Lie! here is a copy of an email from starvision: ( Hello craig,

To clarify: we do not owe Off Grid any payments. In fact, after we terminated our supplier relationship with them, they still owed us outstanding payments for caravans, and we have already initiated legal proceedings regarding this matter.

Moreover, we have received multiple reports from other customers stating that Off Grid has misused or sold parts that were sent by us under warranty claims, and then falsely told the customers that we had not shipped them. After reviewing our claim history and shipping records, we can confirm that Star Vision fulfilled its obligations in each case.) So stay away from these people @ OFF Grid 4x4 ! Update! August the 1st retrieved my Caravan which this Idiot had for 7 months and 12 days Funny how he wasn't on site when i got there ! here are some Photos of his great workmanship for warranty work on the very products he sells! as you can see it has been left in a shocking state kitchen sink not connected to waste water hose left hanging under the van light hanging from wires electrical system now none functional (was working when i took it there) inside not put back together.All that was done in 7 months was fit a kitchen counter top which i had to supply and install a reverse camera. So you can see for yourself the level of care and expertise that your brand new van will receive with all the lies that comes with it.And Just so everyone knows i will be updating this review Monthly so stay tuned as this matter progress's through the courts and Accc. Update ! August 5th i Have found that they also have shorted out the main-board for the power Management system which goes into fault all the time and wont work or charge the battery's because his employee spilled coffee into it. Oh and Anthony you can't get rid of this review like you can get rid of me on Face book! and i must say A lot of people now messaging me on Facebook with Complaints about Anthony and his business the More i deep dive the more i find.Another update! Went to a conciliation meeting with S.A Consumer and Business where we deliberated for 2 hours (another waste of my time) Anthony then agreed to pay the sum of $4k which was due by the 26th August 2025 (which he Did not pay) no surprise there he was sent an email past due to which he responded i paid it yesterday im surprised you have not seen it yet. i sent an email back please send remittance with no reply so its off to court we go.
