I ordered three cards from this company. For some reason, two of the cards had been jammed sideways into the bottom of the envelope causing the edges to become buckled and dog-eared. It would have taken some deliberate effort to do that. The third card was placed normally inside the envelope and was undamaged. The print and overall quality of all three cards is poor and cheap I'd be embarrassed to send the one undamaged card to anyone.

I ordered two birthday cards with standard delivery (4-6 days) 10 days before I needed them. I followed up with the company two days before the birthday because I had received nothing other than a confirmation email. In my follow-up I asked about the status of the order and requested that if the order had not been shipped to cancel it because and issue a refund because it would not arrive in time. If the company had been honest and told me that the order had been overlooked I would have understood because mistakes happen. However, the company explained that the order was taking longer to process than usual because of the bank holiday (which was only one day). My first issue here is that very soon after receiving the company's response I received a shipment email, which I don't believe was a coincidence. It feels like they lied about what happened just to avoid issuing the refund and admitting an error on their part. My second issue is that if this is the true reason, how can they justify taking so long to ship two pieces of card? In the end the order arrived after the birthday, so I'm not happy and wouldn't buy from here again.
I ordered an anniversary card on the 10th September. None of the tracking tools work properly except to say that it was ready for dispatch on the 10th but that is it. The Royal Mail tracker doesn't work as it is not a Royal Mail recognised tracking number so all a bit pointless. Utter waste of time and money sadly.
Bought a card on 9th june for fathers day on the 16th, thinking that would be enough time, but on the 15th still saying they havnt even sent it yet. Terrible company. DO NOT ORDER FROM OHH DEER !!
None exsistent customer service! Do not use. Received a “parcel” which was the packaging only. Royal Mail informed. That the company needed to claim compensation from them and I was unable to do so despite being No contents inside this cost me over £35 and no response to 3 emails I sent initially once I received the order, 4 days later after discovering they required 72hours to respond. It’s now been 2weeks since my initial enquiry and I still haven’t heard a thing.
I ordered my Mothers Day card on 20th with standard delivery, 2-4 working days, thinking this is plenty of time to order ahead of Mothers Day and tracking still says it still isn't out or delivery..
I went to speak to customer care to, and even though it states someone will respond within minutes I've been left with no response for hours!!
I usually try to shop with Oh Deer because of there great selection of cards but their delivery is SO slow, really bad compared to competitors. Really poor and disappointing experience. Go elsewhere.
Order a card for my partner for Valentine’s Day on Sunday 9th February. Card was supposedly dispatched on Monday yet no card received despite paying for Royal Mail 48 hour delivery. Tracking link provided doesn’t work either. Massively disappointing first purchase. A real shame the design of the card was great.
I bought an oh deer card from my local shop. I thought it was good to support small businesses, plus it was reduced packaging - win win I thought! Unfortunately, when I came to write the card the oh deer sticker wouldn’t come off. The card was ruined and had to go straight to recycling, and I had to go purchase another card.
I complained to oh deer and apart from a perfunctory email telling me they know about the stickers and have changed them, that’s it. Not even a replacement card. So terrible customer service and I won’t use Oh deer again.
Delivery took a long time which is becoming a regular occurrence.
Packaging for delivery is not adequate. Used to be in cardboard boxes but is now brown paper. My last delivery was damaged. I asked for replacement or refund as I'd bought it for a gift. They said to contact again if it's damaged when I open the calligraphy kit. Money wasted as I bought it for someone else.
Ordered a selection of cards from here for some events, I’d not heard of the site before so was not sure what the quality would be like but I loved the designs. The cards arrived quickly and the quality was great - would certainly order again and would recommend.
I recently ordered some greeting cards and notebooks from Ohh Deer, and I’m really happy with the quality of everything I received! The designs are super fun and unique, and the products feel well-made. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took a few days longer than expected for my order to be dispatched. However, once it was on the way, shipping was quick and everything arrived in perfect condition. I’ll definitely be ordering again!
Shockingly slow delivery.
Even if you pay extra for express delivery, they still take a week to process your order. Avoid these cowboys
Make sure you order a long time in advance. As in, months in advance.
I understand that cards these days are printed to order, but my order originally took 8 days before a shipping confirmation email was received, before going missing. Granted, this may have been down to the shipping partner Ohh Deer use and their customer service department replied quickly to my request, but they did also assure me that the replacement cards would be dispatched the same day and received before today and the shipping method upgraded, but sadly they took a few days to be dispatched and are still nowhere near being delivered according to the tracking info provided.
We're now 26 days and counting since the order was placed, both birthdays missed and the cards still in transit, which is, sadly, quite useless unfortunately. Hopefully the cards are alright if/when they finally do arrive though, and I don't lose them before next year.
Had an issue with my order that was resolved by customer services straight away, no fuss. Would definitely reccomend them

I love the products on this site, but it is constantly plagued with bugs and errors. Customer service is mediocre at best, sometimes they will manually resolve the issue which is fine - but ultimately it's a waste of the customer's time to have to flag these issues and have back and forth emails about it, they never offer anything in return for your time spent either - not even expedited delivery for the delays in fixing the bugs. Other times they are just incapable of understanding that the issue is in fact with their site, which is frustrating - they need to look into why these bugs are happening instead of taking things on their end for face value. Recently they insisted the issue is with my card details - yet no other retailer has this issue! If it's just them (and consistently them) then it's time to look inwards. They also claimed I had insufficient funds but this was not the case and I shared my bank statement with them to demonstrate this.
It's a shame because they have some pretty perfect items, but I constantly find myself wasting several days talking to customer service and/or giving up entirely and shopping elsewhere (where I find no payment problems at all).

Yes they are “waiting to hear back” (which they won’t because after *several* back and forth emails I finally give up!) having given me lots of little tasks to perform for them rather than properly investigating the issue on their end. It’s laziness on their part. I feel I’ve already wasted too much of my time trying to help them resolve problems that are their responsibility but they keep fobbing off onto me and my card issuer / bank.
The fact they even gave that response suggests they didn’t even read this review properly and just want to project an image to other readers that they are doing more than they are. I’ve also sent them my bank statements of the transaction so they are fully aware there were “sufficient funds”, so to put this into their response is an underhanded attempt at discrediting this review by pretending I simply cannot afford to shop there. Either that or they couldn’t be bothered to check the email thread to check the statements I’d sent through and proof the error was on their end?!
Either way, thanks for a demonstration of the poor customer service!

Ordered 9 cards for 3 upcoming birthdays (and then future birthdays), the first of which was just over a week from order, the other 2 were 9 days away.
Cards arrived 11 days after ordering missing all 3 birthdays, all crammed into a bubble wrap envelope (unlike other card suppliers who sent theirs in a cardboard box to prevent bending). The order took 8 days to process before being shipped, which then took 3 days.
Cards were 3 for 2 however after buying 9, I only got 2 free (not 3) regardless of combination chosen. Furthermore, the cards were really noticeably quite small by comparison to ‘standard’/usual card sizes so for the price I wasn’t that impressed…1 card had “mini” clearly written in the title on the packaging but looking at the website there was no mention of mini. It was 7cm x 7cm for £3.50.
Overall my experience was quite disappointing compared to other card websites or a card shop. Service needs improvement - it shouldn’t take 8 days to dispatch an in-stock order. Also be mindful of cost vs. smaller size of the cards.
I bought a 2024 planner made by Ohh deer for waterstones and foyles. Turns out the pages on the last week of almost every month is missing in the planner and I didn't realised until I got to Feburary in the planner because that was the first month where the pages were missing!

Since they replied to my review, I sent an email to the address they provided. Its been 2 weeks and had no reply.
