Bought an Apollo Smart Oil Monitor - price was very competitive, shipped and arrived very quickly and item is now fully installed and working smoothly! Only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because the item wasn’t sealed and there were no instructions inside. Luckily, I was removing an older Apollo monitor and so had instructions from the last one! Otherwise, VERY happy! Thank you

Thank you for flagging the packaging and missing instructions too. These units come to us exactly as they are supplied by the manufacturer, so the box is normally just held shut with the cardboard tabs rather than taped. I am not sure why the instructions were not included in yours, but I have taken the liberty of emailing you a copy of the manual so you have it to hand.

The warning triangle is most commonly shown if the unit is not sitting completely level, although it can also appear during the first update cycle and then clear after the next successful reading. Quality Service and Item
Went to check the oil level as my Apollo gauge not working accurately noticed previous delivery had dropped the cap down the side of my bunded tank .went online for 4inch a cap 11/12/25 and the modified replacement arrived 13/12/25. removed old mountings and it was done in half hour. I dropped the rubber pads but had an old gasket I could cut. will be ordering a Magnus hawk gauge next to bring it up to date

I've used this company twice now. Both times I needed some advice before ordering and they were excellent - extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Great Customer Service
Great Customer Service from Tom - I enquired about delivery late afternoon on Monday - Tom came back to me first thing Tuesday - ordered items Tuesday afternoon and goods received today (Thursday) to Northern Ireland. No fuss which is really unusual with Companies on the mainland as confusion with regard to us belonging to UK. Would definitely recommend this company and use again.

Disappointed so far
Installation was straight forward. Initial reading looked about right. Following day received email from customer services saying I've been supplied a unit with a "known low battery" Why send it out! Asked for address to send a free replacement battery. Five days later, still waiting. In the meantime I've just bought my own to move forward. However, the readings have been strange, maybe due to the bad battery. Seems okay now I've put in a new one but the historical usage data is now wrong and misleading with no obvious way of correcting it. Disappointing so far.

Just to clarify, the battery notification and follow-up came directly from the manufacturer rather than ourselves. During the initial setup, the system flagged a low battery reading and their support team proactively stepped in to make you aware and arrange a replacement. While it is understandably frustrating to be contacted after delivery, this early detection is actually designed to prevent longer-term issues and shows they are actively monitoring units once installed, which not all manufacturers do.
We are sorry to hear the replacement battery took longer than expected and that this caused inconvenience. A low battery can affect early readings, which would explain the odd data you saw initially, and once a new battery is fitted the unit should settle and provide accurate ongoing readings.
We appreciate your patience and hope the system now performs as expected. If there is anything we can do on our side to help further, please get in touch.
