Good furniture but let down by delivery service

Well presented excellent furniture in the Chelsea store with helpful staff, however, badly let down by the appalling delivery service of our garden furniture. After a few changed delivery dates we had further changed timings over 4 attempts to delivery and assemble the furniture. These included damaging the fixings and having to change the table. Dirty old vans used by rushed delivery staff who apparently aren’t given enough time to deliver and assemble furniture. It’s a shame that OKA are badly let down by their delivery contractors.

Outstanding service from Salvatore at Oka Chelsea

Salvatore is the best salesman we’ve dealt with. He solved all our issues with customer service and went above and beyond to help us. We’d bought furniture that turned out to be out of stock, and rather than leaving it there, he went the extra mile to track the pieces down in the warehouse. An amazing guy who clearly cares about getting things right for his customers. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit the Chelsea store.

The service was fantastic

Salvatore who dealt with us was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us and ensure everything went smoothly. He was always checking in and was always available .

This item was not suitable and was collected from me on 22/05, so over 10 days ago by now, by your couriers but I have had no confirmation that this has been received and no refund.

Please advise at your earliest convenience.

This is not the kind of customer experience I would expect.

Chelsea Oka shop - staff not helpful

I went to the Chelsea Oka shop. Despite 3 shop assistants at the till area talking to each other and not helping people none of them seem to want to help. I asked them if certain lights were in stock and they almost took delight in telling me they had none in the shop and they were sold out online and then when I asked for the price of another they told me to look at the tag and I told them there was none and they said there was and grudgingly came over and discovered there wasn't a price. They seemed to be annoyed to be asked for help. I was in the shop make a purchase of some lamps, I knew I had to make a choice of which ones before leaving, finally one younger woman not part of the initial group eventually saw to help me and made an effort to find some lamps for me. I feel as OKA Chelsea is a destination shop, it's not on a particularly useful shopping street and it's hard to park nearby, most people are in there as they know what they want and want to make a purchase. The items are beautiful and the shop is well laid out, I just feel the staff could be more helpful. I left spending close to £900, but left feeling disappointed that the experience could have been bettered, not just that, but I may well have bought many more things.

Designs and designer great

Designs and designer great. Quality of product great. But the logistics of delivery, export, VAT has been extremely difficult, and spoiled the whole experience. I was forced into researching and finding a cost effective solution. It prevented me buying more product that originally envisaged.
