They cancelled my order on delivery day stating it was out of stock. How is it possible when they don't do same day delivery? They gave my order to someone else.

Old navy shamed me

I am beyond shocked on how I was treated! I orderd over $100 worth of clothes. Took forever to get to me, and when it did the bag was ripped open and tapped back tighter and FIVE items were missing. I tried to contact customer service. I was on the phone w customer service for over 20 minutes. I wasted my time and at the end I was told he could not help me and I had to submit some claim form online so I followed the instructions and I did just that And I did get my money back but then I got sent this nasty letter saying I was put on some kind of list and that I was flagged for a possible person who steals!! are you kidding me?!? they asked for no proof of the damaged package. I tried to show them that I did nothing wrong and that it arrived damaged and arrived with missing items I immediately Contacted them. I immediately took pictures step-by-step, , and I tried proving it to them and they didn’t want any of the evidence and I’m pissed. I worked for Old Navy for over 10 years. Yeah I know that doesn’t matter, but I love the brand and I love shopping there and I cannot believe I was treated this way so I tried calling and complaining and got nowhere. I tried writing letters and got nowhere. I tried writing Facebook messages and Instagram messages and got nowhere. Nobody cares. They care nothing about their customers anymore and that’s just plain sick and disturbing. It’s not even sad anymore. It’s just disturbing Because these companies claim they wanna make money and yet when someone tries to spend money, you discipline them like a school child and all the while you guys are in the wrong it’s pathetic and I’m angry about it. I really wanted those clothes. Not sure why you couldn’t replace them. I’m not sure why I couldn’t place another order! Frankly I just don’t understand why couldn’t I spend money at your store? You obviously don’t want me as a customer but I’d really like to know why

refusing returns with unworn products

As of 2025, their return policy is out of control. They returned a pair of pants to me and said they were worn, they were not worn at all, I literally opened the package tried them on and put them back in the package. The tags are still on, literally nothing wrong with them. They will not take them back even though I returned them within a week, beware the gap and old navy return policy is no longer fair at all and makes no sense. I will not be buying from this company anymore.

Old Navy online selling clearly used clothing

Recieved a new pair of pants that reeked of strong smelling perfume and was covered in lint, clearly it was used. Be careful when buying from old navy. I've never had a problem ordering when the packages weren't split up into separate shipments.

In store credit card hardship

It really needs to find that relevance and vibe again. It could start be resetting their in store credit card. Bad enough the APR is high but the worse issue is the customer’s inability to make payment at the store, even if it’s the one you bought your items at. Seems like an obstacle that was purposely put in place in the expectation that clients would pay late and incur late fees. Ugly that.

Useless customer service - what a waste of my time!

Paid for express 2 day shipping, then told it wouldn't come for 2 weeks. Spent 1/2 hr with customer service who refused to waive the shipping fees because it might arrive on time (even though the package tracker now shows it will be 2 weeks, and its across the country from where I'm located, so it WON'T arrive on time). Useless customer service!

It shoukd be no star at all. I ordered an item 1st week of August using online app. It shows that Item awaiting carrier pick up but since then no update at all and until now I dont recieve the item. I tried talking to the costumer service and they doesn't want to refund at all. Do someone know how to file small claims?

I purchased online order September 2nd, I optioned to get deliver on 8th. Come 8th, my order hasn’t arrived yet so I called the customer service. They asked me to wait until the 15th. I waited until 15th, surprised it is not here. So I called customer service again, he told me it’s probably in lost and found. So he told me to wait until the 16th, if it’s not here to call them again. So I called them again (3rd time), again the customer service said it’s in lost and found. The best way is to reorder again. No way in hell I’m doing that! I’ve waited for 2 weeks just for them to told me to reorder. So I cancelled it! It’s DISAPPOINTING!

Pricing difference is disappointing

This company does not price items in store the same as online. Recently I spent about 5-10 more per item on my IN STORE purchase. They said it is due to regional vs national pricing differences and suggested I look up all items on the app or online before purchasing to get the price match… no thanks.

Terrible service

Terrible service. If there were an option for negative ratings, I would choose it. I called customer service three times today and my issue is still unresolved. Instead of helping, they provided incorrect information and did nothing to solve the problem.

Do not order from oldnavy.com

After placing an order for 7 items online totaling $63, one item for $17 was not in the bag. The bag was too small to even hold the 7th item, a book bag. Old navy denied my claim within 10 minutes through their system and informed me the only way I could get money back was to dispute with my bank.

I went to old navy and reserved some clothing then when I come back I ask the lady it was already IN BIG bag and with receipt and she just want to scan it but then she unexpectedly anticipated i will take them all out and count but then I notice they are all with beeping protection come to think about it if I will pay and without lookingbon it. they will make rumors that would be a lot of Damage for me. It was in there counter and when I get that item there is no beefing machine so this Company is something they can't be trusted. For those people from the Claim if they file a lost don't just believed some of them is just rumors. I like your Clothes But I don't trust you Old Navy God Sees your WRONG DOING. Even when u try make sure u how them there brand bec. They will think your clothes is from them or if u bought it to them be careful on trying because the malicious mind is always there. Even though they count it already some damn people really react like garbage sometimes.

I ordered 9 items but only 8 arrived. When I put in for a "review" I was denied. When you pay for something and don't receive the item this is called stealing. They told me to take it up with my bank. So I pay for something, Old Navy takes my money but doesn't provide the item then wants my bank to pay for it. Super shady. Shredding my ON credit card....

Extremely Disappointed – Never Received My Order and No Help from Customer Service

I’ve been a loyal Old Navy customer for years, but this experience has completely ruined my trust in the brand. I placed an order that included multiple items under one invoice. The order was split into different shipments, and one of the packages never arrived.

I contacted Old Navy several times to report the missing item. After wasting a lot of time explaining the situation, they told me to dispute the charge with my credit card instead of helping me directly. I did exactly that, but after months of waiting, the dispute was closed based on a so-called “proof of delivery” that only said “LSR Front Door” – with no signature, no photo, no confirmation that it was actually delivered to me. That is not proof of delivery.

To make things worse, I tried to reopen the dispute by sending a fax – the number didn’t work. I mailed a letter and got no response. Then I got charged again! All of this over a product I NEVER RECEIVED.

It’s been incredibly frustrating. I’ve spent so much time chasing down something that should’ve been resolved immediately. If I had actually received my package, I wouldn’t be fighting like this. I’m just asking for what’s fair: a refund for something I paid for and didn’t receive.

Old Navy completely failed me as a customer. I expected better.

they are making returns much more difficult - buyer beware

I purchased a few dresses in-store but once i got home, realized some flaws in terms of fit on all but one when using a 3 way mirror. I thought about altering them myself but got too busy with work so I decided to return them. Unfortunately i had an unforeseen family emergency and was out of the province for over week and missed the return window by 2 days. I called Old Navy to inquire if they would be willing to extend the return window in these extenuating circumstances but they were not willing. In addition, I had a gap online order and an old navy that was delivered May 25th. Per their policy i should have been able to process an online return for 30 days after the items were delivered, but I did not... I tried to process an online return on June 22nd but there was no longer that option. I talked with chat and they created me return labels but this process has since been a nightmare. I dropped off both packages at a UPS drop off location but only recieved a receipt for one of them. The other package is lost. I realize that's a UPS issue but I wouldn't be dealing with this at all if Old Navy/Gap would have honoured their 30 day policy in the first place.
