Urge caution in purchasing items from this vendor
At best, Old Stoneware in my experience has been an unreliable company, and I will not do business with them again. I never received the item (a bit for a horse) for which I paid $98.98 on 10/29/2025, and in spite of multiple requests for a refund or to deliver the item, I have neither received the item nor my money back as of this posting. I would urge caution in purchasing items from this vendor.
I also did not clearly see on Old Stoneware's website at the time of purchase that Old Stoneware was acting as a clearing house for multiple outside vendors. I first realized that I was not purchasing this item from Old Stoneware when I received payment confirmation from Paypal noting the seller's name in foreign characters.

In good faith, I followed the tracking, and it appeared that the delivery provider "HMG" was moving the package along, gave dates for customs, locations getting closer to my state. When I had not received the package on 11/30/2025, I again checked tracking and HMG noted the package had been delivered to my address on 11/23/25, which it definitely had not. I immediately contacted Old Stoneware on 11/30/25 and asked them to provide the item or a refund, and another entity "Proserveup" replied on their behalf that the tracking service stated it was delivered. I immediately informed them this was an error. "Proserveup" asked me to check with family and neighbors if the package had been taken in, which I did, and I replied to them on 12/4/2025 that it had not been, and again requested a full refund. At that point, "Proserveup" replied that they had contacted "logistics" and would wait for a reply. On 12/16/25 I wrote to "Proserveup" for an immediate refund, and they replied on 12/17/25 that they had given the claim to HMG, that the claim was under review, and that once they were compensated, they would refund my money or resend the item. I responded on 12/17/2025 that this was a poor way to treat a customer, and if I did not have the item or a refund by 12/24/25, I would write a review on this website. They replied and asked me to wait on account of the business of the holiday season.
So the holidays happened, and hearing nothing, I wrote to them 1/9/26, 23 days later and informed them as I had not heard from them, or received the item or a refund, that my post was going up.
