The Pod is a standalone kitchen and storage tent. It gives you a 200cm by 200cm covered space with 190cm of height in the living area, so you can stand up to cook, and it keeps the stove, the food and the mess out of your main tent. It works just as well as a store. The sewn-in groundsheet and bucket door keep the floor clean and dry, which makes it a sensible place to put bikes, wetsuits, muddy boots or watersports kit overnight. Two large windows and three vents, two in the roof and one in the back wall, keep it light and stop condensation building up while you cook. The Pod is made from OLTECH® 190T ripstop with fully taped seams and a 5,000mm hydrostatic head. It pitches in about 15 minutes on fibreglass roof poles and steel leg poles, and the whole thing weighs 8kg and packs down to 50cm by 20cm by 20cm.
