My experience with OlyBet
My experience with OlyBet revealed serious issues in how player protection is handled in practice.
While the company repeatedly claims to perform “individual assessments,” it became clear that decisions are made through rigid, standardized procedures with no real consideration of context, intent, or dialogue with the customer.
Any mention of sensitive words is treated as an automatic trigger for severe account restrictions, regardless of whether it is said jokingly, metaphorically, or without any real risk involved. The player’s explanation, history, and actual behavior appear to be irrelevant.
Communication feels highly scripted and impersonal, giving the strong impression that responses are automated or copy-pasted rather than thoughtfully reviewed. Requests for clarification are met with vague references to “internal procedures,” without transparency or accountability.
Responsible gaming should protect players, not punish them through inflexible, zero-context policies. In my case, the lack of human judgment, proportionality, and genuine engagement resulted in a decision that felt unfair, excessive, and deeply unprofessional.
I believe OlyBet should seriously reconsider how it balances compliance with basic principles of fairness, dialogue, and human understanding.
