On the whole, a positive experience. Leila and Saffron in particular are both excellent. The book was received in the post yesterday and looks fantastic. The reason Leila is good is because she is o... See more

As a first time author, Olympia took a chance and gave me the time and respect that I would expect for someone more established.
They managed the process from submission to publication in a friendly and professional way with individual attention and single points of contact, treating me as an individual.
Publication is a minefield to navigate, Olympia held my hand and guided me through it safely.

I contacted Olympia publishers and they seemed to be very professional.
Until I paid them £2200 and that's when it all changed.
Communication was next to zero.
I had to do all the chasing, which wasn't helpful with them changing staff every few weeks.
I never had a "point of contact" through out the whole process.
It took almost a year for my book to become available for purchase.
My book was available in April then discontinued in August.
They admitted to NOT publicising my book due to a "Change over" and as a result I only sold 8 copies (due to my own advertising) and was never offered a refund due to their inadequasies
Complaints are totally ignored and no refund was offered due to their non existing advertising.
At this point, I am £2200 down with my emails and letters ignored.
In answer to your reply, I've been waiting for someone to contact me since April so I won't hold my breath.
I have an email from you stating that you didn't advertise my book due to a "change over" which would obviously cause loss of sales.
A lot of people are having the same problem as me .....
Don't get me wrong.....I never thought I would be a famous author or make a lot of money from my book but I do believe I could of made more sales if you had advertised it.
The book is great and I appreciate that.....but , as a publishing company, you should give 100% into the books you publish.
We (amature authors) rely on your help and expertise and sadly you failed me.

This company is very slowto reply to emails or phone calls as my son has been trying to speak to someone for over 4 months and all we get is "oh the manager us in meeting and will ring you back", but still had to chase up need to do much better.

A big thank you to my editor, proof reader and publisher, for their crucial roles in my project. When I began writing in my journal about two years ago, I was often interrupted by my puppy's antics! Finally, my manuscript has transformed into a real book thanks to Olympia Publishers. Thus, I applaud OP!

Submitting a book for publication for the first time is hugely daunting, but my experience with Olympia has been nothing but supportive and encouraging, with guidance on hand at every stage of the process.

Olympia was supportive throughout my publishing journey and helped me realise my dream of being a published author.

Writing can be pretty straightforward, but when it comes to publishing your manuscript, it’s really important to have someone who knows their stuff to take care of your work and make sure everything checks out for the publishers. I can't thank the team at Olympia Publishers enough for helping me navigate the whole publishing journey. They listened to what I wanted and were patient and attentive throughout the whole process.

At every stage of the publishing journey I found Olympia Publishers supportive, professional and prompt in responding to enquiries. The marketing package provided a wealth of advice about how to get started. I am very happy with the quality and standards maintained by Olympia, and the people I worked with.

I regret to say that my experience with Olympia Publishers has been quite disappointing. Communication was slow, and I waited months to receive confirmation of my book’s publishing date. Once the book was released, there was little to no marketing support, which made it incredibly difficult to reach potential readers.
More concerning, however, are the ongoing issues I've faced regarding royalty payments. As an author, it's disheartening to have to argue over reported book sales while the publisher holds onto your earnings. The process has lacked transparency and empathy, and it has taken an emotional toll.
In my view, the service provided does not justify the cost or the stress involved. Similar—if not better—results can be achieved through platforms like Amazon KDP, where you retain more control and clarity.
I would advise aspiring authors to explore other routes before considering Olympia. Unfortunately, I found their model to be more exploitative than supportive of an author’s creative journey.

I can't say enough about the positive experiences I have had with the staff at Olympia Publishers. I have worked with other publishers before and the staff at Olympia exceeds by far everything I have experienced before. They always respond quickly and always have helpful suggestions. As a very excited new author, I am incredibly grateful to Olympia Publishers for making the publication of my book, Ross and the Secret Society of Pet Protectors, such a smooth and rewarding experience. From the moment we began working together, the entire process was clear, well-communicated, and professionally handled.
The team at Olympia has been a joy to work with—always responsive, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about bringing this book to life. Their guidance through each stage, from editing to cover design and marketing preparations, has been invaluable. It’s not every day that you find a publisher who truly supports and believes in your vision, especially as a debut author.
I’m thrilled to announce that Ross and the Secret Society of Pet Protectors will be released on 15 August 2025—and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help launch this story into the world.
Thank you, Olympia Publishers!
Warm regards,

Olympia is very professional with kind and helpful staff. They have been amazing during the publishing process. I'm thrilled to be a published author with the publisher of Harry Potter. Thank you so much and I look forward to doing more work with you!

The team were patient and reassuring throughout the year and did a fabulous job on the illustrations that have made the book come to life. I hope to have the honour of doing more projects in future with them.

This is my first writing experience. Olympia helped me a lot and was always with me. From designing the book cover to editing and publishing it, it was a beautiful and sweet experience for me that I had with Olympia.

From austere beginning to compelling end. Olympia's endemic process is worthy of a novel itself. Professionalism is an understated word but concern for the benefit of the writer is paramount to literary success. You offered me the definition of a winning smile.

Olympia have been very professional with me and have answered every question I have put to them without hesitation. They've also kept me up to date on the progress of my book from start to finish, truth be told I can't complain and would recommend them to anyone. :)
