Flax Oil, also known as linseed oil, is obtained from the gentle cold pressing of the dried ripe seed of the flax plant. Since using omega equine flax/linseed oil over this winter my veteran pony has kept his condition fantastically, last winter I was having to double his feed and he didn't winter at all well condition wise. I have found since using this oil that I have saved money on the amount of hard feed and hay I have had to use and my pony looks a million dollars!
