Extremely poor service and reliability – avoid
We've had a long and frustrating experience with Omega Lifts, which appears to have now gone bust. This doesn't come as a huge surprise given our experience.
Despite repeated callouts, the same faults kept recurring. We’ve now learned from an independent consultant that this is a known tactic in the industry – low-cost service contracts padded by frequent, ineffective callouts. Each time, it seems the engineer simply pressed the lift’s reset button without fixing the actual problem. No transparency on what was done, no lasting fix, and no real communication from the company.
To make things worse, the company’s leadership stopped responding to us altogether.
This experience has taught us two things:
You get what you pay for.
Avoid Omega Lifts (or whoever has taken over, if they’ve rebranded).
We’re now seeking a reputable company to take over, and we’ll likely need a full overhaul to undo the damage of years of poor maintenance.
