Oneclickroot failed.

Oneclickroot paid. Had to do manual root by technician. After two hours using my PC remotely, the tech could not root my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Tablet SGH-i467. Tech was polite but could not do it after using different methods. At one point he asked me to do a factory reset, which would have lost all installed apps! I refused and asked for a refund.

Catch 22

If you root you smart phone, you will unlock many apps, be able to WiFi hotspot your device! Or so they say.

I need to root my AT&T crippled phone so I can WiFi hotspot to get my Windows PC online, but I can't install the One Click Root on my PC without an internet connection! I guess they have to go back to school and study this time!

Horrible

I downloaded the app which said my phone could be rooted. Paid to have it rooted only to be told by the agent it couldn't be rooted. After only a couple hours of research, I successfully unlocked the bootloader and obtained full root access to my phone. The agent had no idea what she was talking about and neither did the "tech" she had to consult 4 times. What a joke!

It was a horrible experience and a compete waste of money and time. Never ever use this company's services as they are stealing people's money and time for no use! They have completely messed up my samsung android which I had to reset all over. Instead of giving information about the risks, they repeatedly try to take more money from you with repetitive messages. I ended up with a root which never worked and also my device was unusable so I had to reset all my info. Ruined my whole day. Complete fraud! Never use this company ever!

They bricked my device and refused to refund

I bought their root package, which by the way is WAY overpriced for something that can be done for free, and then they BRICKED my device with root. They said they could unbrick it but it would remove root. So now I'm back to no root, except $40 out of my pockets. I kindly asked for a refund, but they refused. Please, do not use this service.

Good service, but....

I had already had root experience on other devices.
I had rooted some smartphones on my own through the ADB tools, and one I had done through the Kingo service. Kingo root had done what it was supposed to do while retaining the data, but had filled the phone with bloathware and malware (and even now I've tried and things haven't changed).

I needed to get root permissions on a device without losing data, so I turned to the "One click root" service, hoping that, being a paid one, it had the same capabilities as Kingo but without the unpleasant malicious software.

I pay for the root service via Paypal and start the software on the PC, after setting everything up as required, and after receiving confirmation that everything could be done on my device as described.

The software stops asking to "start a chat with their operator", since the procedure had to be terminated manually.
The operator, very kind, explains to me step by step the procedure until he asks me to "unlock the bootloader" (OEM Unlock).
I remembered other root unlocking procedures performed by PC in a "traditional" way which included the passage described above, and which assumed the complete loss of data on the device.
The operator asked me why I wanted to run the procedure to earn root permissions, and I answered him by asking him if I would continue to lose data on the phone.
He confirmed, and therefore I found myself requesting a refund (done very quickly) and closing the chat.

Ultimately a good service for newbies where you are followed step by step, but unfortunately it is not necessarily a "one click root".
At least, not for all peripherals.
It would be better to highlight this aspect on the site before asking for money, both to avoid disappointing expectations and to avoid wasting time.

My name is Unnikrishnan C

My name is Unnikrishnan C. I have done rooting my samsung tab two weeks ago online through one click. The good support provided by them is commendable. But now i find that the google play movies and tv is not working with the result that i cannot download the movies i have already bought and the new movies revently bought also i cannot download. I would strongly advise anyone not to do rooting at all if they want to preserve their android on good condition.

Better than their reviews!

I was nervous because they had low reviews so I wanted to share my experience. I tried to root and downgrade my pixel xl 2 from android 9 to android 8. All I managed to do was "brick" my phone and get to a point where I didn't know what to do. I am a technical person so I can usually figure things out but I was stuck on this one.

I chose the one-time $49.99 option. Christine was my support rep and she worked on my phone for a few hours and got everything up and working just like I wanted it. It was well worth the time!

This is a rip off business model

This is a rip off business model. Rooting is not 100% guaranteed to work, although when the technician is done with you (probably anything between four to six hours of your time), any future problems you experience are not covered. You need extra cover for that. They will tell you, you are good to go when rooted but I experienced an invalid IMEI number error an hour after rooting. ON the same day, they want more money out of you, anything between £50 to $100 USD equivalent for a support package.

Years ago we would have been able to root ourselves but phone companies are making it harder. For example, when you run out of internal memory, a rooted phone will allow you to move apps to the external sd card. Now, phone companies are making this process so diffult you need to buy a new phone with more memory from the greedy corporates who could not give a toss about the environment either!

Beware of this OneClickRoot route...you may end up sorry and out of pocket, and maybe having to purchase a new phone at the same time.

Bloody rip offs

Bloody rip offs. I got the app and it said they could root but needed to do it remotely. I spoke to the tech and he told me to contact him back in 3 hours so I did. When I got back to him he told me he couldn't root my device because they didn't have the files. When asked couldn't they get the roms gave me a lie about how the rom is on paid sites and they asked admin to give them access to paid sites again.

I paid nearly $60 for a service they would make hundreds of not thousands off the rom and they give me that lie.
Told me they would have the rom in a few days (Again a bloody lie) and I could wait or use my money to root then or root another device.

I not some noob, I normally root my own devices if I can find the files but came to them because they guarantee to root.
Simple truth. They app lies to you to get your money then they lie to you for every reason they can't root your device, when really all they are doing is taking the files from someone elses' work and applying it to get your money.
For those not scared of a few attempts and fails. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Google your device+root. then do it yourself. Don't trust these lying mongrals to rip you off and give you one lie after another.
If you can't root it yourself then give the money to someone local to do instead of these over priced scamming mongrals.

One star is to much even still given the scam.

you will age while have them do this

the first tablet they did took them at least 24 hours to figure out, between multiple phone calls, to figure out. The next tab for weeks they kept telling me they figured it out and finally I insisted for a refund. The reluctantly gave my money back to me. I told them and showed them on a website what was needing done but was told they wanted to do it their way instead of the way that is should be done. I would of tried it myself but at that time didn't really understand the lingo to what was needing done. Like a fool I called them again for a 3rd tablet and they said that if it didn't work the way I wanted it to they WOULD NOT refund my money. I than said I would try it myself. Instead of making many phone calls and saving many hours I got it done within a hour. Trust me when I say it is easier to do yourself than chat with these people that don't seem to care about customer service, don't really know what they are doing and won't listen to what you say.

Great 24/7 service of tech specialists. All you need.

The reason I didn't give 5 stars is probably because I am a cheapass.

These guys are very helpfull. The specialists know what they do and will continue till they get the job done. So actually I am a very satisfied customer (from Holland)

They are available 24/7 and make me realize I have to give them 5 stars and not complain, because they aren't that expensive. So nuff said. If you are like me. A computernerd who isn't that nerdy but want to have control, these guys help you out.
