After finishing university and fighting homelessness and trying to find employment for the years prior to finding where I am renting now in Stockport, I am forever grateful to One Door Down and the team for them being able to see the kind of person I am and trusting in my personality to be a good tenant, pay a very fair amount for my room, and looking after the room.

Rachel is a great judge of character, very friendly and approachable about anything, and has been very supportive and understanding in other difficult times I’ve had since staying here.

John visits weekly for maintenance and cleaning with his wife, and they are very pleasant to catch up with and attentive to anything I may need to bring up about my room, which is very rare for me to have to do.

The team have looked after me and supported me greatly, while them and the housemates, who Rachel had accepted their tenancy, are all understanding to my lifestyle, and values here are based on fairness, consideration to each other, and friendliness.

It has been an incredible experience, one much like what you would like to have at your own home.

Thank you One Door Down, Rachel, John, and all my house mates for such a pleasant living experience here.

In summary, since living here from February 2024, the rent has been a great and fair value, the location is greatly convenient for commuting, shopping, and generally peaceful living, and the team are super friendly, helpful, and supportive.

I am currently a tenant in a property in swinton. I moved in here in July last year and it is a brilliant place to live. The property manager Rachel is always on hand to help if needed and John and Tracey do a great job of the maintenance/cleaning of the property. I was worried about house sharing and did only plan to stay short term but I have found my happy place and really landed on my feet here. One door down are brilliant and I would highly recommend them to any one looking for a decent, caring and reliable landlord.

I am very sad to be leaving my Studio in Central Stockport, it was just what I was looking for at the time . Very reasonably priced considering the fantastic location within easy reach from the train station and Manchester ring road . In my year I had no major issues with the facilities that were provided . All staff were lovely and easy to deal with and responded to any requests within hours. I would recommend One Door Down 5*
