Your tests are a joke. The questions are vague and nobody understands what you're actually asking. Your guidelines contradict each other on every other page. The examples you provide don't reflect real world tasks at all. When people fail, you give zero feedback so they have no idea what they did wrong. And the grading feels completely random, like flipping a coin decides the outcome, not actual skill. Who in their right mind would sit through endless certifications for such a low pay? These are the worst tests I have ever seen from any company. Half of it doesn't even relate to the actual project. The guidelines are over 50 pages of garbage, probably translated by a bad AI if even that. Multiple people have to go through this mess. Fix your broken system.
Terrible pay, terrible support and they will completely waste your time by offering you a project and immediately rejecting you even after you have completed all necessary certifications.
Scam company!
Oneforma will terminate your user automatically if you use a VPN even once by mistake, like what happened with me.
If that happens, you can't log in to your account and they will not pay you what you are owed.
I am taking legal and taking my story to the media unless Oneforma responds and solves this.
Edit: Write you a DM? Where? What kind of unprofessional answer is this.

Scammers are irresponsible people, first they write that you passed the certification, then somehow you failed the certification and so on a couple of times. Especially how to pass the certification, they send you shit, who knows who those files are from unknown people, everything is done through shit, don't waste your time on them, they are not worth it, especially with the conditions that are on the site in the contract, they are completely different and you can't change them, even though it's illegal, and if it doesn't suit you, they will gently tell you to go to your ass
I recently started working with OneForma and at first, everything gave a positive impression.
The registration process was simple and smooth. ID verification went through without any issues, and within about a week a project manager reached out to me. The welcome email clearly explained the project and what to expect, which made the whole setup feel professional and structured. It felt like a serious opportunity.
The support team also seemed reliable in the beginning. I usually received responses within a few days, either by email or through LinkedIn. They even mentioned that I could book a Teams meeting if I needed help setting things up. As someone new to the platform, that level of accessibility felt reassuring.
Payment through Tipalti worked well too. Compared to other platforms such as PayPal or Payoneer, it felt smooth and straightforward. The flexibility of working from home and choosing my own hours was another clear advantage. It allowed me to balance work with other responsibilities, and contributing to AI development in Swedish felt meaningful.
For the Lighthouse 3 project, the pay for Swedish residents is seventeen dollars per hour, which is about 153 SEK before taxes. This income must of course be reported. After taxes, however, the earnings fall below the average for similar work. Other platforms such as Outlier and DataAnnotation.tech offer at least twenty dollars per hour for comparable tasks, which makes the difference noticeable.
Still, at that stage, I was willing to give it a fair chance.
The first small warning sign appeared when I realized how many certifications were required. I had initially understood that there would be one or two tests before starting the project. After completing the first ones, I discovered that there were many more waiting. In total, it would have meant around twelve certifications before even beginning paid work. That felt excessive.
The real turning point for me was the LE test, which is meant to evaluate language skills. The test felt disconnected from the actual project tasks. It was vague, poorly structured, and difficult to interpret. The guidelines surrounding it were long and unclear, which only added to the confusion. At that point, it became hard to ignore the growing feeling that something was not well thought through.
I also noticed that AI generated Swedish translations often sounded unnatural. Combined with lengthy and sometimes confusing instructions, it made the work more complicated than it needed to be. Clearer structure and better summarized guidelines would improve the experience significantly, especially for new contributors.
I was born and raised in Sweden. I know the language well, I am analytical, and I do not give up easily. Yet even I reached a point where the effort no longer felt justified. What began as a promising opportunity gradually revealed several warning signs that were difficult to overlook.
In the end, I decided to leave the project. I hope the platform improves and offers more transparent, well structured projects in the future. For now, moving on feels like the right decision.

I have been with OneForma (and the prior Pactera) since 2016, and in my experience, it has gone downhill since early 2023. That was the last time I was paid for a project on there, actual work on there. Recently, a lot of emails about certifications, but not much support for those, or not at all, not replying to my emails about the guidelines, or only vague help at best. The guidelines by the client are sometimes unclear or don't make sense in parts, but the project staff only give limited/vague responses at best or not at all. Only a few project staff reply more helpfully, maybe 2 or 3 of them in the last few weeks. Some certifications I have passed, but no actual work yet, or there's another and another certification. So kind of dodgy and a waste of time nowadays. I'm probably sticking with Freecash mainly at the moment, made much more $ through them in the last year, than with Oneforma lately, and some of the other work platforms like Appen who also used to be good until the last 2-3 years.
After working for hours every day for a few months, my account was wrongly deactivated without any specific explanation or reason. Even after reaching out for help and clarification, I didn’t receive any clear answers.
I spent many hours completing certifications, only to lose everything because my account was deactivated unfairly.

UPDATE in response to OneForma's reply
Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately this is exactly the kind of generic response I was referring to.
You state that security flags are “triggered automatically and not applied arbitrarily.” That is precisely the issue: the day after creating my account, when I attempted to log in, your authentication system repeatedly failed with “Auth service call failed” errors, despite correct credentials. Your team even regenerated my security codes without justification, invalidating the ones issued the previous day.
After I resolved your technical errors by clearing cache and cookies, my account was suddenly flagged for “suspicious activity.” It is unreasonable to suggest that normal login attempts during a malfunctioning authentication loop constitute fraud.
To be absolutely clear:
I do not use VPNs or proxies.
I operate only one account.
I strictly follow platform guidelines.
If your automated system flags legitimate users because of internal service failures, that indicates a flaw in your detection logic — not misconduct on my part.
I have already submitted a formal complaint through your official email channel, including detailed documentation of what occurred. I expect a specific, case-based response addressing:
The authentication service failures.
The unjustified regeneration of security credentials.
The exact reason my account was flagged.
A standard reassurance that “the team will review” is not a resolution. I look forward to a substantive reply based on the actual technical facts of my case. Regards
OneForma. Esperienza pessima.

The worst platform I’ve ever used!
Even after your project gets approved, they can disable your account without any reason. The account review team doesn’t seem to do their job properly. You receive tickets without any actual service, and your account gets flagged as suspicious all the time with no explanation. There is absolutely no help, no clarification, and no real customer support at all. Very frustrating experience.

I couldn't even try to start working for them, i created my account, went to the main page and couldn't access my account anymore. I guess it was flagged for some reason, and the support does not reply to me.

After signing two forms of the site rules, you are redirected to a form where you insert an OTP code and thereby confirm your email. After entering the OTP code, a message appears stating that the user already exists. When you enter your email in the login field, a message appears stating that the user doesn't exist. This seems like they're simply running you around in circles, and it looks very suspicious. These are most likely scammers who are simply collecting signatures and data from any user. Don't waste your time and don't sign anything.

My account got disabled when I was trying to do a id verification and not giving an actual reason raised a ticket and no one has gotten back to me

OneForma is an excellent platform in terms of ease of access to projects, payment reliability, and overall credibility. I have successfully completed several projects on the platform in the past, which confirms its professionalism.
However, there is a serious issue with the speed of resolving account-related problems. I personally experienced an account restriction that took nearly six months to resolve, during which I was unable to apply for or work on any projects.
Currently, I am facing a similar issue again. I am unable to apply for projects and continuously receive a message stating that my account is restricted due to “suspicious activity,” despite the fact that I have not violated any rules or policies. I have contacted support more than 10 times, but the responses are limited to generic troubleshooting steps that do not work, or explanations about high support volume.
While I understand support delays, waiting months to resolve a critical account restriction is unreasonable, especially for users who rely on the platform for work. I kindly request OneForma to review my account urgently, as I am eager to apply for an active project (Project Sagittarius Audio Collection - QA Role (Arabic - U.A.E.)) and continue contributing to the platform.
I hope OneForma will maintain its reputation by taking user issues seriously and providing timely, effective solutions.

Created and verified my OneForma account and began setting up my profile normally. However, my account was later flagged for “suspicious activity,” which has prevented me from applying for projects.
I contacted support and received only automated responses despite waiting several days and following all instructions provided. I have replied to the support emails requesting escalation for manual review, but I have not yet been able to reach a human agent.
I understand the need for automated security systems, but the lack of accessible human support makes it difficult for genuine users to resolve issues. I am hoping this review helps draw attention to the need for clearer escalation paths and faster.
EDIT: These people are not serious at all. I just sent them a mail as requested and they still went ahead and sent that same exact AUTOMATED RESPONSE, clearly undermining my concerns and the specific details I provided. I'm tired at this point

Constant receiving emails there is work available, not able to apply for roles due to verification of ID, does not make sense if i am born in the UK and oneforma already have my identification.
Guys, go elsewhere this company is a total waste of time, i have sent numerous support tickets no reply.

Projects don't work, other projects don't show up, and the support team never respond to tickets. The whole thing is a joke, and incredibly frustrating.
