THEY DO NOT PAY YOU, DON'T FALL FOR THIS

I worked and did not get paid. Despite having a valid Purchase Order (PO) issued on time and submitting my payment details well before the deadline, the platform kept the invoice window closed during the official submission period. This prevented me from uploading my invoice, PREVENTING PAYMENT

I tried multiple times to contact their support through emails, social media, and the help center but received no response. Even their official email bounced back, and their support system felt unresponsive and poorly organized. The lack of communication and transparency has been very frustrating and disappointing.

Freelancers rely on timely payments, and this experience has shaken my trust in OneForma’s professionalism and reliability.

account disabled

I have been working on MilkyWay for over a year now with France as my location. I have had no issues regarding my account until now.
Suddenly, my account has been disabled due to suspicious activity, which baffles my mind. I work in the same conditions in my home since I started and I have never used a VPN (I don't even know how to use one). I have contacted support several times since this occurred and there has not been any reasonable feedback
There is still work available and I don't know whether to stop or continue because I am wondering if I am going to paid after all the work I have done for this month of June.
I see that there are a lot of such similar experiences from other reviews. How is this happening to such a reputable company?

OneForma support? Where is it?

OneForma doesn't reply. The support team in non-existent. They disable your account because their automated system decides to. They are only worried about making money, not helping and supporting the people who work for them and make them money! Ridiculous company. Maybe a lawyer can get a reply from them.

Oneforma support team has not unlinked my Payoneer account

I have pending payments in my Oneforma after completing lighthouse 2 and cherry opal tasks, my Payoneer account was closed, so Oneforma needs to unlink it so I can link a new one to receive payments. I mailed their payment support team with proof of ID and screenshot of current Payoneer account but there has been no response for weeks now . I still have pending payments and Oneforma keeps disturbing me to add Payoneer but they don't reply my mails to unlink .this is so sad

Payment not received despite completing over 70 hours of work

I worked on the Lighthouse and Polly projects on Oneforma and completed more than 70 hours in total. After delivering the required tasks, my Oneforma account was suddenly disabled.

I contacted Oneforma support, and they claimed there was no pending payment. Then I was told by the project leader that since my account is disabled, they cannot issue any payment — even though the work was already done and submitted before the account was closed.

This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I delivered the work in good faith, and now I'm being denied the compensation I rightfully earned.

If you are considering working with Oneforma / Centific, please be careful. There seems to be no proper system to ensure freelancers are paid fairly.

I applied for the Lighthouse 2 project in February, passed the certifications and have been pending review since February. I tried applying for other projects while waiting for the review, and I kept getting suspicious activity. I don't use a vpn or whatever it is called. I changed my password a couple of times, cleared my browser history, but nothing worked.

Impossible tests and certifications

Impossible tests and certifications.
MilkyWay is simply impossible. Tests are a joke. You spent a lifetime reading 300,000 pages to "fail" a test that you can't review and understand where you failed. This company has a very cool approach, their website looks good and up-to-date, they'll lure you with cool and cute training videos, but it's impossible to get in. It's a waste of your time, seriously. I am starting to think this is some kind of data mining company.

Terrible system and CS team

I was registered this as a side hustle and not hoping for anything, still it give me disappointment. The payrate is way low compared to others site, and the instruction the one project is 200 papers long. Only good thing here is they have eye-catchy instruction, that's it. I accidently turn my VPN on 1 time and got disabled, try to mailed them and haven't got a real response. Then I tried again after 3 weeks then got a poorly formatting email said that the decision is final. The email was just copy-pasted in with random line breaks and no double-checking at all. Very unprofessional

Account Disabled Without Proof, Payment Withheld for Completed Work

I worked on the Lighthouse 2 project through OneForma and completed several hours of assigned tasks. Without any prior notice or explanation, my account was suddenly disabled. I later received a generic email from Centific (OneForma's parent company) claiming that I was involved in “fraudulent activity,” citing a clause in the Statement of Work.

No evidence was ever provided. I was not given a chance to respond, appeal, or even view the allegation. Despite repeated attempts to contact OneForma’s review team, I have received no reply. All communication has gone unanswered, and my pay for completed hours is being withheld with no due process.

This raises serious concerns for freelancers: lack of transparency, no accountability, and the use of vague clauses to deny fair compensation. I am currently pursuing this through EU consumer protection channels and urge others to be cautious.

Freelancers deserve respect, communication, and payment for honest work.

I did all the work and passed the required exams. I uploaded my ID which follows all the guidelines but it was rejected and no other follow up was given. I sent 3 messages asking for an explanation but they seem to not care even if it’s an error on their end. I don’t recommend this company at all.

OneForma is a Scam

I was invited to participate in a project called Milkway. After attending the orientation call, reviewing the provided guidelines, and completing the required certifications, the entire process took me nearly three weeks. Following the certification, I was asked to submit a verification ID, which I provided in the form of my passport card.

However, a day later, I received an email stating that I was not eligible to participate due to alleged use of a VPN/IP spoofing or having a high fraud score. I was shocked and confused by these accusations, especially since I’m unfamiliar with terms like "IP spoofing" and have never engaged in any fraudulent activity.

I was initially hesitant to apply for work on OneForma after reading mixed reviews online. However, a friend who has been working on a different project with the platform for years assured me of their professionalism and timely payments, which encouraged me to move forward. Now, even he is concerned after hearing about my experience.

What I don’t understand is why such scrutiny wasn't conducted at the beginning of the process, rather than after investing weeks of time and effort. It’s disheartening to be dismissed with such serious implications after cooperating fully and providing all requested documents.

Update on 23rd May 2025, I just dropped an email to you guys, hope to get an reply.

Update on 4th June 2025, No reply still from them and even after contacting on linkedin as well.

Deeply Disappointed — Worked Hard, Then Banned Without Pay

I worked on the Lighthouse II project for over one cycle only to have my account suddenly deactivated with claims of "suspicious activity" that were never explained or proven. I never engaged in any dishonest behavior. What’s worse is that I was completely shut out after the work was already done — with no payment and no proper appeal process.

I’ve tried contacting support multiple times but only received automated replies. It feels like a tactic to avoid paying contributors for their time and effort. Based on my experience and others I’ve seen online, I strongly advise people to be extremely cautious with this platform.

Honest workers deserve fair treatment — and this wasn't it.

I got a mail clearly stating that I won't be paid for any of the work done. So which is it?

Suddenly banned

After about two months of work, with great feedback, I got banned without any notification. I contacted the support but they don't give any details on why and says the decision is final.

I have, from my knowledge, not violated any terms so it came out of the blue.

I liked the work during these two months but I recommend anyone considering Oneforma to be wary.

Unfair Removal and Payment Withheld

I worked seriously and consistently on the MilkyWay TryRating project through OneForma, only to be suddenly removed without warning and accused of using AI tools — an accusation that is completely false and baseless.

My laptop is over 10 years old and can’t even run Photoshop, let alone any AI-related software. I only work from home, using my personal Wi-Fi, and no one else has access to my system. There is absolutely no way for any “suspicious activity” to have occurred.

I’ve contacted their support multiple times asking for clarification, evidence, or a chance to defend myself, but I’ve received no response. Meanwhile, the project still appears in my OneForma account and TryRating tasks remain active, adding to the confusion and frustration.

It is completely unfair to deny payment for completed work without proof. This kind of false accusation is not only unethical — it may be illegal. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it to the Department of Labor and take legal action if necessary.

I’m writing this because I’ve seen other people report similar treatment. I hope this review helps raise awareness and pushes OneForma to take responsibility and treat workers with fairness.
