Disgusting thieves...
We parked with a rental car at BIG Herlev directly after we arrived to Copenhagen by plane, we didn't know how the system works with the paper clock, and as we didn't understand the Danish information signs in the parking lot, we didn't set the disc. After 30 minutes we got a 650 DKK 'inspection fee' for parking there more than 2 hours. The parking lot was almost empty, the inspector could surely see that we were not there so long, but anyway, we wrote to the so called customer service a fairness request. It was absolutely useless, their purpose is to collect as many money as they can... they didn't care, that we could prove with written evidence that we had not been in the country for 2 hours!
This company is a shame to Denmark.
Worst experience ever
We had a Periodekort released by the hotel, so we paid three days parking. The last morning we found a fine for "registering mangler" of the previous evening, because the ticket was in the far right of the dashboard and the pictures they take don't show it. But it was there. We send the pictures of the Periodekort the day after using the form, and they said that we have to pay in any case and not to contact them again, because they'll provide to send everything to the international credit collector.
Every question I'm sending to the customer service had the auto-reply to not contact them for fine inquiries and that I have to sent the form online. But I already sent it, so there is no way to speak with someone directly via mail, and my English is not enough good to call them.
Moreover, the form online is only in Danish even if you switch to English so I doesn't even know if I selected the right option.
I'm still waiting for a reply because I can't understand if a Periodekort is a parking permit or a parking ticket, since we paid for it. And because I need the payment data in euro to submit the payment from Italy. I'll probably use an international customer protection service, because they don't provide all the information at least in English, neither in the Periodekort.
A fine of about 100 euros (I think), for a payed service in private area is the most nonsense think I ever met in my travels. And worst customer service ever.
Zero Customer Service
Only seem interested in providing fines. Asked the attendant about how to pay for parking and was directed to a paystation with hand gestures. Tried to pay with cash but machine was not accepting cash! Then tried credit card and all seemed to be accepted with the ticket placed on the dash by the kids. Noticed the same attendant working with the pay machine with front cover open when I returned. Only did I realize that the payment was actually unsuccessful when I noticed a ticket on the windscreen and had exited the car park.
The attendant could have easily helped me through the process as I had full intentions of paying for my parking - but no there is far greater financial rewards for them to catch out the unsuspecting public and write fines. This has certainly soured our short visit to Copenhagen!! Other travelers beware and avoid these parking stations if possible.
Please report this company to the Fair Trade Commission
THere are NO signs in the FOTEX car park, my wife is di.sabled and we took the lift to ask were to pay for parking , it's OK said the Manager 3 free hours , we have just arrived in Copenhagen from UK so we're very pleased to be made welcome . We did not see the clock on the passengers side
Where was this parking attendant we came down by lift minutes later not a soul in sight when we looked for someone to help tell us how to pay
Like other reviewers I think he deliberately avoided us as we were asking other parked vehicle owners where the pay machine was,
I am reporting you to the Office of Fair Trading and I hope many others do the same so consumer rights are enforced and your co.mpany goes bust
This company doesn't even deserve 1 …
This company doesn't even deserve 1 star! U guys are thieves...I went to Leo Land with my two toddlers for the first time in BIG Herlev as I do not live in Denmark firstly I didn't understand the rules, but even if I had, I have a hard time understanding how these facilities at this place allow them to treat theit customers so badly! Not only did I spend two entrances to my toddlers at Leos I also shopped in H&M and a sport store where I spent more that 3000dkk. When I went up to the play land with my kids I had no idea that firstly I needed to set the timer but even so I had probably parked the car for no longer than 1 hour and 15 min when I went to the car and found a ticket. I asked the guys that had just given me it how come and they said that the clock exceeded the time with 4hours! (By the way did ask a person on the parking, who told me it was free.)
I sent asked complaint to their head offices also explaining that for a paremt going by him self to Leo Land how does he move his car after 2 hours! I will have to take both toddlers out and go and move the car ...?? Why?? also how come all the other stores at this facility allow these thieves to control that parking lot?? after sending this letter not only did I get the rudest email response ever, telling me not to contact them again regarding my request to get the ticket annulled. And pay it, there werr no polite response It was unacceptable, but what did I expect from this kind of company!
My kids loved Leo LegeLand but for me as a parent and a turist I will never recommend anyone going there to loose 650dkk in addition to all the other costs you willnhave there. (Shopping, eating, entrences and a ticket!) cause you want to have some fun with your family!
Also, if you do remember to set the clock, these guys seem like they will make sure to give you a ticket for something else..... SHAMEFUL organization!!! Shame on you!!!
Corrupt Thieves.
This company are corrupt thieves. Do not park in their "facilities". I bought a ticket, set the parking clock and was given a ticket for 750 kr for "taking two spaces". One wheel was outside of my space and into an area which is not a space, but taken by the company's own sign. I had to move over as the car next to me was crossing the line to my space (and was not ticketed).
I appealed and was told "unless you provide new evidence we will not respond again". I asked to escalate to someone more appropriate and had the same response again. I tried again, taking a photo as new evidence to prove that I was not taking two spaces. Again I asked for my case to be escalated. This time, the response is that as I have ignore them, they are taking me to debt collectors.
All messages I have sent have been replied to by Maria. She is abrupt, offensive and on not giving the opportunity to escalate, I suspect breaking the law.
Low morality, money first...
Spent a nice 2h+8min with my kids at Leo’s legeland in Herlev yesterday afternoon. Nice center, nice place, great time.
Only… I arrived 8 minutes after the time when I was supposed to leave the parking lot... 8 minutes!!! Obviously people at Onepark have very precise watches, check them very often to make sure that they can catch us. I realize that I was late, by 8 minutes… I called the claims department at Onepark and they clearly replied that they are allowed to set a fine no later than 1 minute after the time set on the parking disk. What a nice and impressive policy. Obviously money rules there, not morality…
Now, I will have to pay the fine (650Kr), it is annoying but not very important in the end. More importantly, I am really wondering whether these nice shopping/entertainment centers (like the one I have been to in Herlev) that give responsibility to Onepark and the like for their parking lots, realize the policy and behaviour Onepark has with their customers? We come in your nice shopping places to enjoy the facility (and as a matter of fact I had a great time in Herlev center) but we also spend our money at your centers. I am wondering whether you do care about your customers as hiring Onepark for your parking lots implies that you agree with their policy. Aren’t you concerned that your business may be affected by such repelling practices at Onepark? If I was owing a shop and if Onepark was in charge of the parking lots in front of it, I would be worried for my business…
Scum!
Onepark are scum. They hide the instructions for using their parking lots, in places you are most likely not to notice them. This can turn 5 minutes next to a shop into a 100 dollar fine. I take pride in avoiding using all shops who cooperate with Onepark and similar scumbags!
Answer to Kadja: the signs that aren't hidden behind trees and bushes, are obviously done in colours as discrete as possible. The scumbags you work for, measure success by how many people don't notice the signs. I'm sorry for you, that you have to defend a company like OnePark, it's a tough job. You're the Sean Spicer of the scumbag-parking-company world!

Big Herlev One Park - Business Model is built on Robbing with Parking Fines in Ground Floor
Big Herlev Parking Fine is set up in such a way that people make mistake easily and rob their money with parking fine.
They set up the boards with small letters (NOT BIG BOARDS) in ground floor, only 2 hours park limit in ground floor which is not the same in other shopping malls, no park machines to pay for extra time, parking fine even if just crossed the park time which is not the same in shopping malls....all these make HERLEV BIG LOOSE CUSOTMERS
Here are the issues i see
- Herlev Big doesn't not have a uniform parking fee on all places.
Consequence: People don't observe this so much and they assume the same all over and get trapped at the ground parking places
- Herlev Big One Park always waits and parks people as much as possible after 2 hours right away. In all Shopping malls in Kobenhagen, eventhough they cross parking limit they wont fine right away. They fine only outstanding, long time parking personal cars or vehicles. For example in Fisketorvet, etc.
- One Park doesnt provide any parking machines intentionally in Herlev Big. Because they know they will make more money on fines than parking tickets.
- Herlev Big One Park knows everybody who comes can spend more than 2 hours due to the restaurant, shops etc. People wont come back to car before 2 hours just to change the time; so its easy trap to cross the park time. There is no park machine so that they can pay the extra time. Obviously the moment 2 hours crossed they fine. Its rediculous.
- They wont have USER FRIENDLY PARKING FEE Advertisement System. They make money on fines on Ground Floor, thats why they DID NOT KEEP BIG BOARDS for GROUND FLOOR. Instead they kept for 1.sal or top floor about Parking fee advertisement with Big Letters.
- They DONT HAVE BIG BOARDS on Ground Floor to Warn customers about 2 hours parking limit.

Without compassion and common sense, they are just a factory of making money
I have been parking in onepark next to a FitnessWorld where there is a "tap'n'park". Never forgot to register the car but once... I registered the car after a class and it was too late, I already had the magic orange paper in my windscreen. I sent a complaint but of course they did not care about the circumstances, they just care about making money through fines.
You have lost a client, I will never park again in your parking spots, or better said in your "money machines".

P inspector for OnePark abandons children
Sorry, new to Denmark and still learning Danish. I was at Harald Nyborg in Herlev, ran in to buy something and did not see the small sign at the other end of the lot explaining the whole P-skive rule (I challenge you to find "P-skive" in the dictionary). So my 10 & 12 year old sons are waiting in the car, the inspector comes up, looks at them and writes the ticket for me not realizing to set the P-skive (you get 3 hours free parking). He could have just asked them if it was set correctly or he must have assumed they were abandoned and wrote his ticket and just left them there anyway. What a low-life, despicable, Danish P inspector.

What a joke!
For a large company their customer service, ease of use and their replies to genuine questions were very poor. Back ground. On holiday in our U.K. Car parked in shopping centre place for 20 mins and 650k fine for no parking disk that's only used in Denmark when signs are in DK and allows 3 hours. Cost me £107 with charges to pay as only accepted bank transfer as no way to pay by card. Several emails with a general attitude of tough for parking in our car park and not reading Danish signs. Quality company, comical even their reply said that parking without disk MAY result in fine. Not would.
