OneRoyal removed and kept my $5,702 profit from my only trade, then misgendered me
On 06 Aug 2025 I made my first deposit and placed my first and only trade on OneRoyal. That single trade earned $5,702 profit. Instead of paying it, OneRoyal returned only my deposit and kept the profit.
The email they sent me stated:
“Following a thorough internal review of your trading activity, we have identified attempts to exploit our Negative Balance Protection mechanism. As a result, any profits generated through these activities have been cancelled and removed accordingly.”
I never entered a negative position or triggered NBP in any way. This was my first and only trade. Later, they rephrased their reason as “negative balance abuse” - different wording, same vague label, never accompanied by evidence. To me, it felt like jargon recycled to justify keeping my money.
To make matters worse, in one of their emails they misgendered me, calling me “Sir,” when I am a woman. Losing my profit was already bad enough, but being addressed like that in writing made it even worse.
I don’t understand why OneRoyal would do this to me. Perhaps it was just cash flow or solvency issues, maybe even sexism - I’ll let readers draw their own conclusions. I’ve also noticed they can be aggressive in challenging 1-star reviews as “defamatory” (some of mine have been removed before), so I have to be careful with wording. But I believe it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision.
From my perspective, OneRoyal kept my profit, misgendered me, and then tried to spin it as “protecting clients.” If you’re considering them, think very carefully before depositing. In my opinion, it is very risky.

Update Oct 12 2025: This review was posted on 26 September and I have still had no reply from One Royal privately. There has not even been a reply to this review, despite One Royal replying to many more recent reviews.

Poor support team
My experience with the broker has been nothing but a disgrace I was granted a free $50 account and I managed to complete all the necessary conditions required which was 3 traded lots on fx pairs and metal/gold with a generated profit of $100 but I cannot withdraw my funds and the support team isn't useful and they are not responding to my emails or support ticket.
