Staff Member Could Have Injured Me

I went into the shop on Highfield Road just to buy a bottle of pop and some cans of lager, I was getting the cans from the fridge and a lady who wasn't in the isle when I got there appeared and didn't warn me that she was right behind me. I backed up from the fridge and she bumped into me, nearly sending me flying into the fridge. No excuse or any kind of warning which is very dangerous, she could have caused an accident.

Another lady who works there is always miserable and expects the customer to put the basket away when it is actually their job, a lot of the staff there are so rude, lack any customer service skills and look like they don't want to be there, what happened to "service with a smile"?

Please discipline the staff as they really need a wake up call and especially since they don't care about the safety of their customers.

I give 1 star for my experience and…

I give 1 star for my experience and this is based off of pricing. I would give more stars to the staff themselves but overall I can't. We hear daily about the cost of living and food prices, so why do people continue to shop here? Onestop prices are extortionate and will always have products more expensive than anywhere else because they know they can jump up the prices of food because people are too lazy to go elsewhere. The worse thing about Onestop is they stock Tesco's own brand products (This is because Tesco own them). And onestop charges more for these products than Tesco itself. Tesco is down the road from Onestop in Hattersley but like I say, laziness kicks in and Onestop could be a few yards closer. These places need boycotting.

BEWARE- Gloucester OneStop kingsholm

BEWARE

I have ordered groceries online from One Stop Gloucester. Mistake.

Delivery charge of £1.79
Service charge of £3.85

SERVICE is dreadful, lazy staff, contempt for customers.

*****no communicating no offer a remedy when items are missing. This is common experience with delivery from this store

paying high service charges might indicate this shop cares about SERVICE.
It doesn’t care at all

They do not count items on bag before sending ?
They will not ring the customer if you can’t make the complete order
eg, “we’re out of cat food, would you like to cancel the order & use another provider”
at the very least refund any service charge, these missing items mean I HAVE TO GO TO A SHOP

Sneaky to do these partial orders without informing the customer, short term greed over long term custom.

All of these service charges would cover the cost of phone calls 📞 would easily cover usual standards of customer care & satisfaction.

Beware.

Have used this shop for many years and…

Have used this shop for many years and have always been well satisfied with the service. As well as general things like stationery, computer stuff, confectionery etc they offer postal services which normally is very good, but you do, unfortunately, get the odd glitch but that is not down to the one stop shop.

some of the assists do make up their own prices

this is for 1 store in hattersley most assistants honest and polite but this miserable one clearly not 1 of my fans tuesday i go up all nice say ooh im lucky today just about got enough 1-80 so she says 1-90 wagon wheels gone up 1-10 i ask her then why is your display price 1-00 not a word just a frown just gone back 2 days later still priced 1-00 sadly she is there again ask the other one why are wagon wheels still priced 1-00 if 1-10 she replied or they prob not got
round to it yet she will eventually 1.if thats the case that is disgusting its fake pricing ( fraud ) 2.i suspect wagon wheels still 1-00 i just happened to make the mistake of telling a very bitter and spiteful person that i just about had enough money on the tuesday, did try to ask one stop on twitter but they just fobbed me off with b/s we will get in touch with the store ask them to update the price clearly they didnt

Horrendous place to shop and work.

As someone who worked for One Stop for close to 5 years - it is the WORST company I have ever had the unfortunate experience to have anything to do with.
The company treat their staff like **** - which is why many decent people never stay there. Anyone with any form
Of higher level education is treated like dirt and bullied.
I was bullied to breaking point and head office did nothing. The one time I did actually call for support the phone was answered with a “ Yes… HELLO! what did you want!”
Managers are toxic - and that toxicology is handed down to the shift managers who are usually friends of the managers.
This leads on to terrible service. Yet level of just basic education is severely lacking!

"Bag-for-life"

"Bag-for-life", more of a useless "Bag of sh!te". The quality of OneStops carrier bags has degraded to the extent that they are a liability rather than an aid. They've upped the price to 30p/bag and reduced the quality and durability to "unusable". Their ever helpful contacts were unable to suggest the best way to separate instant coffee from honey and glass, or the best way to dry out my groceries from their soaking in beer.
Great shop staff let down by pointless management. A few layers of middle-management need removing and perhaps listening to in-shop staff would improve both the range and quality of sugar and nicotine available in these shops.

Management rude shelves pretty empty needs a new manger for this shop in hollingworth hyde. Had an incident with my son they gave him a false £20 note he has mentioned it to the person who gave it him and nothing il be going higher up now as im down £20 avoid

Shockingly poor selection of fresh…

Shockingly poor selection of fresh food. Full of crisps, snacks and confectionery at inflated prices. Most products seem to be targeted at the most vulnerable parts of society. Expected something like Tesco Express and hoping to buy something for dinner, but left without buying a single item.

Thought this new shop was going to be a tesco express turns out to be a tesco spin off of highway robbery! Expensive no benefits whatsoever all same stuff with different label with inflated prices. Unable to use clubcard yet it belongs to tesco! Don't you think you make enough money without ripping of the poorer section of society. Shame on you tesco!

The management is absolutely…

The management is absolutely disgusting, you try to resolve a matter involving a manger and then don’t do nothing they just forget it either happened , the management treats you like a piece of poo on your shoes . He is rude , he is judgement he only cares about him self and colleagues , he claims he’s never had a sickness but he didn’t work for 6 months straight becuase he had to have it off becuase of covid ‘ Yh you have a sickness ‘ he’s a liar and. He’s horrible

Appalling Customer Service

Appalling Customer Service. I was sold a box of Wine which when opened tasted like vinegar. I purchased the item on my iPhone through ApplePay and was not offered a receipt. Upon trying to return the box I was told because I didn't have a receipt it couldn't be exchanged. I showed them the transaction on my phone - date, time, amount. They then told me to contact Customer Service. I did so and was asked by CS for the card number I used. I explained that I used my phone and gave the last digits of the card number. Despite the shop then finding the receipt, the date, amount and time of transaction being on my phone and the box I bought being the last one in stock, the lady at CS insisted I used another card. I don't HAVE another card. So unless someone else bought exactly the same thing as me at that exact date and time, in the same shop, I must have been the purchaser. I have shopped here for 25 years. I will go out of my way to not shop here anymore. Unfortunately for them, there are plenty other local stores nearby. Shame on them.

Trying to get any sense out of the…

Trying to get any sense out of the receptionist at the head office this morning was like talking to a brick wall!
she must have been reading He hello magazine as she wasn’t listening to the English i was using,I was trying to make a complaint about my local store and Her mantra was computer wont allow your call to go through as you are ex directory,so write.I have written several times before but never received any replies the company has a disgusting attitude to customers and need a few lessons in handling complaints.

I worked for one stop for very close to…

I worked for one stop for very close to 5 years. It caused me so many issues...after I lost my mum beginning of 2020 and 3 months later i lost my dad. All they did was treat me like rubbish. They hire some rude, selfish staff. Dont get me wrong there are some lovely staff too. But I would never dream of making someone feel rubbish after losing their family or at all as a matter of fact. Rubbish management and when I left he decided to take my holiday pay away from me so I will be taking this further as the person who sorts the payroll (manager) knows I struggle as I live on my own. Couldn't catch a break. Bullies.
