Scummed me out of $75 and will not…

Scummed me out of $75 and will not reply to any customer service emails. Purchased a product through paypal on their website. Never said anything regarding to a reoccurring payment or anything. Not even an email from onnit themselves at any point saying anything only emails i have are from paypal. DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. Doubt I will ever get my money back. Dont buy from them unless you like mystery charges on your card

Great products

Great products! Clean, pure ingredients. However, most, if not all of these products are overpriced. Shipping times used to be amazing but now it seems inconsistent. If their prices weren't so expensive I wouldn't mind the longer shipping time!

Don’t purchase anything from them!

Like others I’ve been waiting on my shipment and my other package hadn’t even shipped yet. I’ve been patient but I’m running on fumes here. Fedex told me that the order has an issue that sender needs to contact them... so basically it’s oversized and overweight and the company didn’t pay enough... how? Because I paid more than enough for shipping cost. I want my items asap or refund!

Shipping and handling is terrible and overpriced

Could be different from everyone else but I've had the worst experience ordering a single equipment l from this company. I've wanted to check out one of their primal bells as they are pretty badass to train with so I purchased one. But after waiting for two weeks due to delaying, I've found out my order got lost during shipping. Their shipping and delivery was involving with Fedex and they did absolutely nothing about it except keep telling me to file a claim. Luckily Onnit replaced my order with another one when I called them about it but I was still pissed. But just as I had the second one coming otw, I kept getting shipping exceptions like 2 times and I found out they kept wrecking the barcode number or something they need to scan on for delivery. My replacement bell finally came but was delivered very poorly. The Fedex delivery guy just threw my bell over the fence and worst of all, the bell was put in a very thin box with no extra styrofoam to protect the product and would've damaged the handle! Thankfully the bell is actually okay but with few small scratches. I think Onnit needs to cut ties with their shipping with Fedex and replace it wit UPS instead as Fedex lost my first order during shipping and always be ruining the quality of products in packages!

I did not want to purchase from Onnit

I did not want to purchase from Onnit as their marketing, supplements, and founder are clearly full of gimmicky BS. Unfortunately, they are the only ones claiming to have steel clubs in stock right now. Showing 3 separate ads for your overpriced products during checkout is a really gross tactic and at best is annoying to the consumer. I have not received any shipping update on my purchase.

Super slow shipping on fitness products, dismissive customer service

7 days for a shipping label - not even a shipped product. That is absurd.

Customer services said the 7-10 day processing time was displayed on the website, but I can't recall seeing it anywhere during purchasing.

I know I'm not a commercial account, but I spent $100 for one of their kettlebells. This really puts me off from buying any of their other products.

Customer service was really dismissive of the issues I brought up as well. Your team should be taking customer sentiment seriously. I am completely put off by their handling of this order.

I don't understand what's happening in their warehouse and process that it takes 7 business days just to print a shipping label. What a joke. Y'all are supposedly all about optimization, so maybe optimize that.

the women in the office talked over me my while I was on the phone... direspectful... told me I was wrong... when they charge 280 dollars when it was supposed to be 140.
They go we are not responsible.
Sad you could sell millions and when you make a huge mistake like take my rent money ... you should atheist cover the order.

Scam

Scam. Kept sending product even thought I did not request. Can’t get anyone to cancel the automatic order. Now I will have to cancel my credit card and get a new number. How desperate is a company that they would trick customers into automatic reorder. The reason I don’t want anymore is because the new mood made me feel horrible anxiety and nausea. Buyer beware

They’ll take your money but won’t ship. Still waiting for $1009 refund.

Sorry excuse for inventory management. Purchased over $1009 on semi annual sale for kettlebells and other fitness equipment. After two weeks of accepting my order and taking my money I still haven’t received any updates. I contacted them and was told if they accepted your order it will ship. Then I waited for a while until they sent me separate emails claiming they oversold and cancelling my order. Made lame excuse of the demand due to Covid-19. We’re in freaking June, Covid 19 has been around a while. This is not news!

Worst part is they tied my money up. If I would have been told immediately I would have moved on and bought it somewhere that had it in stock. They cost me the opportunity to buy it somewhere else like at Rogue and Repfitness. Now it’s just waiting for it to be in stock again.

I’m not buying from this company again. Just a waste of time and you’ll just end up disappointed because they can’t fullfill your order.

Oversold their equipment but kept my money for a month

I recently purchased roughly $800 dollars worth of kettlebell and fitness equipments from onnit. After purchase, it said to allow 5-7 business days for processing around the third week of not receiving any information about my purchase I attempted to call onnit 3 times with no answer and no call back I then emailed them and waited a 4 day period with no response. After this, I received 5 separate emails stating that onnit during their fitness sale, unfortunately, oversold their equipment and were canceling my order due to lack of inventory. this was extremely frustrating being that I waited a significant period to first place this order and then had to wait an additional 3 weeks to hear that I was not going to receive any of the equipment I purchased.

Great Products but Horrible Quality Control

I'll start by saying I absolutely love Onnits fitness products, I have steel clubs, steel maces, kettlebells and a battle rope. All great quality and good products. I've tried some if their supplements (creatine, alpha brain, Shroom Support, etc) but haven't been taking long enough to comment one way or the other.

Now onto the bad... I've had 5 different orders from them over the past month and a half (took advantage of their semi-annual sale) and 3 of my 5 orders have been wrong!!! One was missing Alpha Brain (which they did replace), the other I got a wrong Kettlebell and of course the one I was supposed to get is out of stock (they did their best to make it right and I'm satisfied). Now today I receive another shipment and the 4 items I was supposed to get are not there and I have someone elses packing slip and their two t-shirts. I'm waiting for a response. It is VERY HARD to actually get someone to answer or talk to you. Once you get someone I have been satisfied with their reactions to the issues. Hope that will be the case with this current problem.

If commenting on just their products I give 5 stars all day, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Now it seems its a gamble if you actually get what you order. Ive wasted countless hours of their shipping mistakes and wasn't able to get what I ordered in one case. So it seems buying from them is a gamble. I'm still waiting for a large part of another order so we'll see how that goes. I'll try and update after talking to customer service and receiving the rest of my recent purchase.

As of now 5 stars on product, but 1 star on quality control with their warehouse and shipping team.

*Update... Finally received the rest of my order. Very hard to get a hold of customer service. When you do they are nice and try and make things right BUT have a big flaw in their company where is you need help with shipping of fitness items they know nothing. Say all they can see is what we see. I love their products but I've never had this much struggle in missed and wrong orders and spent countless hours of my time wasted in trying to resolve. 5 stars on their products, 1 star on customer service and quality control. I just placed another order with them and hope it will go smooth and giving them another chance. Hoping they just stretched themselves to thin during semiannual dale and this isn't the norm.

Alpha Brain... Underwhelming!

I'm in the process of trying out different nootropics and was really excited to try out Alpha Brain after reading many great reviews.

I ordered 60 capsules for a months course through UK supplier XBrain.

I was totally underwhelmed and didn't notice any difference. I'm really disappointed because the cost of this is significantly more than its competitors.

On a side note, I experienced very poor customer service from XBrain. I sent 3 emails and had no response. For anyone looking to try them out, I would recommend sourcing them from a different supplier.

ALLERGEN WARNING

My wife (26 years old) used Alpha Brain for a brief time. It was not only ineffective but it actually created an acute allergic reaction and had to be stopped and returned, for which we've received no communication or refund.

Just tried Alpha Brain Instant

Just tried Alpha Brain Instant. Really disappointed, taste is not bad but I have been really ill with stomach cramps, nausea and bad head. Sorry but it's £55 down the drain for me. I really thought it would help with my studies, just made me feel flat and as mentioned ill. Maybe just my body does not like it, as there seems to be so much good said about the product which is even more disappointing for me.

Not For Me

I am writing this review sitting on my bathroom floor, where I have found myself the past few days after taking Alpha Brain. I bought this product with high hopes of improving my daily focus. Instead I found it to be more of a distraction due to the running back and forth to the bathroom due to major nausea. The first day I thought it was just a fluke so I decided to continue taking the supplement, huge mistake on my part. I’m not normally one with a sensitive stomach, but i find myself experiencing extreme stomach cramps and nausea which led to vomiting. I saw no improvement in any of the areas that they mentioned. I just wish I was aware of the possible side effects that can occur when taking the product before purchasing. When I was buying it, I couldn’t find any side effects or reviews on their website. I guess that should have been my clue that this product isn’t as great as they claim. But, these are just my experiences, only way to find out for yourself is by taking it. I would really like a refund but who knows how dedicated this company is to helping customers.

Been using Onnit Products for a while. While the quantities of some products aren't significant, you still get what you pay for. It's obvious great attention to detail is put into the highest quality possible in every item. And I must say, I'm blown away by the customer service and speed at which I am put in contact with a representative. 5 stars A+ all day!

to be honest

to be honest, I usually love alpha brain and new mood but I have been eyeing the total human pack for a while so I finally tried it

after 1 night I got stomach cramps so bad I couldn't move and as the week progressed they got less intense but none the less still were apparent

im not sure if this is normal of all vitamins, but I'm nervous to continue to take

Not a knock on ONNIT or the quality, but definitely confused and upset to say the least

Onnit’s Alpha Brain is Problematic AF!

In my view the cardinal sin that Alpha Brain commits is not proving that it contains the advertised ingredients. And Alpha Brain is not unique in this — this is actually a huge problem with the supplement industry in general. Nobody is verifying that supplements actually contain the vitamins, nutrients and Nootropic ingredients on the label or listed on their website. Somebody who just wants to make money can build an ecommerce store, create some graphics of a bottle or label and list a bunch of ingredients that empower our health but actually just fill the capsules with sawdust (or whatever) and make a killing. It’s an often undiscussed ethical hazard of being in the supplement game. If you don’t see a certificate of analysis (COA) for the ingredients of the product you’re really making a faith based decision to consume it. Onnit’s is probably not doing this because they are a big company with a lot money, the value of their multi-million dollar brand is probably not worth the risk of betraying their customers to maximize profits a little more but as industry leaders they really should take that ethical step and just make their COAs public.

Having been the internet’s smart drug dealer for the better part of the decade, I have some experience dealing with Onnit and without getting into too many sordid details I think they may be doing too many psychedelics there in Austin! My experience with them was of the organized irresponsibility that characterizes large bureaucratic organizations and companies. Usually, how a company does one thing is how it does everything. My experience with various departments of Onnit furthers my suspicion of their products’ quality assurance.

If you watch just a few of the podcasts that they produce you’ll see that they really embrace a lot of postmodern pseudo-social science and wuwu new age spirituality. Which is good for marketing I’m sure but this really doesn’t seem like very appropriate corporate cultural for the rigorous endeavor of creating scientifically backed health products.

Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Packaging, Labeling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements. These regulations mandate that companies, like Onnit, must ensure that the dietary supplement meets the specification for identity, purity, strength, and composition; and for limits on those types of contamination that may adulterate or may lead to adulteration of the dietary supplement. Although, there are some companies that sell dietary supplements without adhering to these regulations. Onnit is not one of them.

So, how does Onnit ensure its products meet this regulatory requirement? Onnit’s products are produced in facilities that are frequently inspected and/or audited against current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) by regulatory agencies (i.e., FDA and/or Local State Health Departments), GMP Certifying bodies (e.g. NSF), and individual company’s Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance departments (e.g., Onnit, etc.)

Each product is manufactured to a finished product specification that meets the requirements for identity, purity, strength, and composition, and adulteration. Every raw ingredient is identified and tested to ensure that Onnit knows what is in our products. Each lot of a product is produced using a Batch Production Record which ensures that the correct amounts in a formulation are used. And ultimately, the finished product is tested per the same specification. The results of these tests are then documented on a Certificate of Analysis (COA).

Onnit takes the quality of its dietary supplements and products very seriously. And, consumer safety is our number one priority.
