Ontopup was useful when we needed it (whilst on holiday) but we thought we had bought a one off top up. In fact they had signed us up for a monthly subscription which we only noticed after paying for... See more

When doing the top up it was not clear on the website that it was a monthly subscription. Also ended up having to pay a £1.89 for the privilege of having the top up. Stay away from this site. Go directly to your provider for top up. I don’t know how, but I also ended up paying £9.95 for cancellation of the monthly payment.

Zero stars if I could. This site is a scam. They didn’t send my code until I chased them, and when I finally got it, it didn’t work anywhere not online, not on the phone, nothing. I even sent proof of the error and they still refused a refund, hiding behind “you received the code.” The code is worthless, the service is dodgy, and the whole thing is a con. Avoid at all costs

I notice that I'm not the only one who has unwittingly signed up for monthly auto top-ups. I only realised this when I received a pdf receipt and looked into my recent payment record and was horrified as I can ill afford even the relatively small payment involved. This happens to refer to a spare phone which I rarely use but keep for emergencies so I don't need these top-ups. And when I tried to unsubscribe I found it near impossible. I hope I've now managed to close my account and this way prevent any further payments but I still don't feel very comfortable.

This company is so typical use them once and the bill you for the next month without your consent even if you cancel your account. I have been waiting now for 2 months for a refund.

Mostly good - it would have been better if it could have put the credit directly on the phone, but we're dealing with badly designed legacy systems here, so at least this site gave me a way to top up a nikia replica that can't install the app, when nobody sells physical vouchers anymore, so a problem has been solved

Was Mis directed to ontopup whilst searching for Vodafone top-up
Purchased credit which was never supplied. Refund not given. Might as well have put the money down the drain. The only reason gave one star. Is because there no option for zero or negative. Miraculously missing pin code for purchased credit turned up. After this review. But still can't recommend as issue is as if you have run out of credit and need to top up. You probably struggling to do all the things you need to do to get your top-up voucher. It's a lot easier to get credit direct from your service supplier plus cheaper don't have to pay extra VAT on top.

Taking random bits of money from my bank account. I thought it might be my top up automatically activating each month but I get no credit.
