OnyxWake was created for a simple but frustrating problem: waking up on time without filling the room with noise — or waking the person sleeping next to you. OnyxWake is a silent vibrating wrist alarm. Instead of a loud sound, it wakes you with a strong vibration directly on your wrist. That makes it ideal for heavy sleepers who sleep through traditional alarms, couples who wake up at different times, shift workers and early risers, students, and anyone who shares a room and wants to wake up without disturbing others. It's lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all night, and it doubles as a watch so you can check the time at a glance. We're a direct-to-consumer brand, shipping worldwide. Every order is backed by our 100-Day Wake-Up Guarantee: if OnyxWake doesn't help you wake up on time, you're covered. We also offer free shipping and responsive, human customer support. Our mission is to give people a calmer, more reliable way to start their mornings — without the jarring noise, the snooze spiral, or the guilt of waking up everyone around you. Have a question or need help with an order? Email us at contact@onyxwake.com and we'll get back to you within 24–48 hours. Website: onyxwake.com

Originally 3 star review due to not so honest claims, now 2 stars for continued dishonesty

First I’ll put one thing out of the way - the product works as described, it wakes up my partner without bothering me. So on that there is absolutely no criticism.

I do have some qualms with the general behaviour of the company so far, hence the low trust score. I’ll explain: a few weeks ago I had left a first review that has since disappeared, explaining I was disappointed to have received a non-branded product with instructions in Chinese, and as such to learn this was a drop-shipping company when they claimed in their Trustpilot description that they were a Belgian company and that was the reason why I had elected to order from them instead of Amazon or Bol for instance.

They replied saying they never claimed it was a Belgian manufacturing company, which is technically true, but practically speaking when you write “We're a Belgian direct-to-consumer brand, shipping worldwide.”, this can be easily interpreted as such. So much so that they have since edited their description on Trustpilot and now it just reads “We're a direct-to-consumer brand, shipping worldwide.”.

This is better, but still misleading - while dropshipping is indeed a type of D2C business, the traditional model that most people think of when they hear a brand is D2C implies that the brand owns and controls their own product design, manufacturing, packaging, and inventory. By getting a package from China without any brand name whatsoever on the box, and with instructions in Chinese, it is proven that this is not what they are referring to. So to just say you’re D2C and based in Belgium is done in bad faith in my opinion, in a time where the consumer zeitgeist is to look for smaller, local companies to support local economies and diminish environmental footprints.

This is a sign of general dishonesty from the company and so I cannot in good conscience recommend it, regardless of the quality of the product.
