Gift Card experience

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Never again. Called four times to dispute an unauthorized transaction—each time, they pushed back the date to file. When I finally did, I learned they hold gift card funds for 45 to 90 days. Tried escalating to a supervisor, but the service wasn’t any better—no US-based support either. Avoid their gift cards.

Incompetence for elite status cc?

Lot of stupid errors in getting business card. Was under the impression that delta sky miles purple card was elite status. Disappointed . Why did you make me have to use your offshore phone service WHO DO NOT HAVE A CLUE how to solve problems that they’ve created. Thanks again for the my employees name being misspelled on the card. You can laugh but , four hours of phone bs . Pissed enough to write this review

They Cut my credit limit off by 3…

They Cut my credit limit off by 3 quarters down to my balance owed with no notice at all (meaning I cudnt use anymore) . As soon as corona struck.virtuallybno limit left for no reason at all. Despite none of my circumstances changing at all. And the card being handled well. No defaults etc. They have no loyalty to loyal customers. I would recommend people avoid them

Beware Amex Travel insurance: easy to start but not so easy to stop renewal

Be sure to write and Mail by post well in advance of renewal.
Got a good deal last year but inevitably the premium went up for no obvious reason.
The trick is how to stop the automatic renewal: cannot do this on the Amex website where the policy was arranged, and the help phone line.... well....
So ended up having to write on papyrus using a quill pen, extracted from a passing bird, and then sending by post with a 20th century envelope and stamp....
