Unfair and unauthorized 99 EUR charge during a Free Trial!
I signed up for a 14-day free Prime trial yesterday while booking accommodation. However, Opodo instantly charged my credit card 99 EUR (11,000 RSD) as a separate transaction without any warning, confirmation screen, or 3D Secure authentication.
When I contacted customer support on live chat, the agent refused to cancel and refund, claiming I had an eDreams account before (which I already cancelled), and forced me to call a UK phone number. This is an unacceptable hidden cost and scam tactics targeting customers.
I demand a full refund of 99 EUR immediately as I did not agree to this paid annual membership.

The booking experience was hard and…
The booking experience was hard and never ending and the so called cheap ticket ended up being just as expensive as with any airline.
But making the most insignificant mistake on my Ryanair ticket turned into an absolute nightmare. As an elderly person, my experience was that there is absolutely no assistance in any shape or form from Ryanair. There is no telephone number to ring to get a human, just endless recorded messages and then you are cut off. It does not matter whether you phone the UK number or the Eire number, same message and then you are cut off. The chat line just asks you the same question ad nauseam and was useless. Customer services has not even acknowledged my email. Another 0330 number was continuously busy and cut you off.
Opodo on the other hand have a telephone number, it was easy to speak to a human being and Navneet was exceptionally helpful at their end, but they could not solve the Ryanair problem.

Cancelling Opodo Prime Shouldn't Be This Difficult!
I gave Opodo only two stars because cancelling my Prime subscription was unnecessarily complicated, especially as a non-UK resident.
In a world where almost every company offers customer support via WhatsApp, email, or live chat, Opodo made the cancellation process incredibly frustrating.
I actually had to PAY for an additional international calling service through my mobile provider, just to contact UK customer service and finally cancel my subscription!
Cancelling a subscription should be simple, accessible, and FREE — not an obstacle course that costs customers extra money.

Warning regarding hidden subscriptions! During a simple flight booking, Opodo secretly enrolled me in a 119.99 EUR annual Prime subscription without transparent consent. When I requested a refund immediately on the charging day, they rejected it using tricky terms. Fortunately, PayPal investigated the unfair practice and ruled in my favor. Be very careful with their hidden traps and check your statements!"

Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with, went to book a flight advertised at about £125, got to the payment page and the price had more than doubled! Went back to the original page which showed the lower price, tried again to book at this price, without any further input from me they booked the flight and charged me the higher price! Immediately cancelled but this it seems will take weeks even though this is their issue and I cancelled immediately after their higher payment was wrongly taken.
