Great selection, GREAT price, and delivery time acceptable, but a little quicker, would be better if possible, but that doesn't detract from a TOP business!

So apparently in your world

So apparently in your world, “premium tyres” means digging something out of a warehouse that’s been sitting there for two years and hoping the customer won’t notice. Impressive strategy.

Yes, I’m fully aware you’re probably covered by some fine print in your terms and conditions — conveniently written to justify sending out old stock as “new”. But let’s be honest: there’s a big difference between what is technically legal and what is actually acceptable when you market something as premium.

Receiving tyres produced in week 16 of 2024 in 2026 is not what any reasonable person would expect when paying for a top-tier product. It feels misleading at best, and deliberately deceptive at worst.

This has been a thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish. I will not be recommending your company to anyone, and I will certainly not be purchasing from you again.

If this is your standard of “quality”, then customers should know exactly what they’re getting into.

All the tyres that we offer are new, and of an age not higher than 36 months (according to the recommendations of most automotive clubs, among others Allgemeine Deutsche Automobil-Club [ADAC] and Touring Club Schweiz [TCS]). The high online shop standards of Oponeo.co.uk are completely in accordance with tyre manufacturers guidelines which acknowledge tyres not older than 3 years as brand new.
Oponeo.co.uk is also committed to the proper storage of tyres and the constant rotation ensures that 90% of the tyres we sell have a production date less than 1 year prior to the date of sale.
The tyres you received were DOT 2024 considered brand new.

My first and last time using Oponeo

My first and last time using Oponeo. I couldn't source my hankook tyres off any of my garages so ordered here 18th feb. I ordered 2 tyres in plenty of time to be delivered to my garage, only 1 tyre arrived so had it fitted. First phone call, I was told to wait it normally follows a day or two later, by the third phone call and customer service admitting its lost, I then was asked to email proof of non delivery by their claim dept?! No offer to ship a replacement tyre at any point. I contacted dpd who advised it was up to Oponeo to raise a missing parcel ticket. I chased them for over a week asking for a replacement then asked to cancel the missing tyre as still within 14 day cool off as I was now driving on a spare, finally got through to a different department who agreed to refund me. Absolutely awful experience and poor customer service. Just to note the reply below advising I was kept informed of what was happening regardingthe missing tyre- this is absolutely not true, I had to chase for information and constantly ring and email for updates, at least be truthful with your reply

Unfortunately, situations involving lost parcels depend on confirmation from the courier before we can proceed with the appropriate resolution, which in this case was the refund you requested.

Tyres were dispatched promptly

Tyres were dispatched promptly but the website for the delivery company(GLS) could do with improvement. It showed that the tyres sat in an airport for about one week before being moved to the country of delivery. Oponeo followed up on my query and were great. They even rang to make sure the tyres had arrived as the couriers weren't able to confirm this.
