Avoid this car dealer

I purchased a car from this company and very quickly discovered that the air conditioning was not working, despite the vehicle being advertised as having air con. I notified the dealer straight away, and they asked me to return the car so they could have the system re-gassed. However, this did not fix the problem and the company then stopped responding to my emails entirely.

I took the car to BMW for a proper diagnostic, and they confirmed that the air-con compressor needed to be replaced. They also found that a rear shock absorber was leaking and required replacement. The total cost of these repairs, just three months after buying the car came to £1,795.61. I have also since discovered that two wheels were buckled, which also required repair.

This company has failed to act within the law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, when you buy a second-hand car from a dealer, you are legally entitled to a vehicle that is:
• of satisfactory quality
• fit for purpose
• free from faults
• durable (lasting a reasonable length of time), and
• as described.

This car did not meet those standards, and the dealer failed to address the issues or even communicate after the initial attempt.Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. They did not meet their legal obligations and left me to deal with significant repair costs on a vehicle I had purchased only weeks before.

Hassle free transaction

Had no problem with the sale
They offered a reasonable amount part exchange. For my old car. ( about the same as we buy any car. )
Car is as expected for a high mileage 12 year car.

Did have an issue with the battery. That is a usual thing. ( I had plans to get it changed. )
they helped me by send out. A mechanic to get me started
Once the new battery was fitted. All the. little problems. Was solved.

A big thanks for a hassle free transaction.

Vehicle delivered with several serious problems

I bought a TOYOTA YARIS hybrid from this dealer for £9933.00 on 03/04/2023.
The advertisement mentioned a full-service history; however, I did not receive any service history logbook (or any other proof of the service history).
When I collected the car, the plate left light was inoperative, the arm pin and bush of the front suspension were worn out, and the front left tyre was damaged. The same MOT (dated 3rd April) reported these defects.
Moreover, the tube repair kit provided with the vehicle expired in 2021 (2 years ago!): did the seller check this?
Six days after the purchase (9th April), during the easter holidays, the front left tyre broke down (was this properly inspected?), forcing me to take an extra day off from work, postpone the return to London, and stay an extra night at the hotel. Thus, This yielded several additional costs (other than the tyre replacement).
On the same occurrence, the tyre patrol who replaced the tyre warned me that the rear right tyre was worn and thus needed attention. He was also surprised that MOT did not advise this.
So far, the dealer is refusing to repair the car and to pay compensation for the additional costs incurred. Neither he showed any detailed report of the checks performed. Conversely, (on the 21st of April) he only provided a jpeg picture of an unclear and undetailed "report" performed 93 miles before the MOT: a report should report: i) the person/garage who inspected the vehicle; ii) the date of inspection; and iii) any findings/score of the conditions and additional notes. All these pieces of information were missing.
